I agree Lisa. When you click on shop collection it should be the whole collection. You're not grumpy. Customers are mostly not clued up on Zazzles way. Thank you!
I'm no Zazzle expert and while I appreciate a lot about Zazzle, when I search through stores to share items as an associate I find shopping through Zazzle Store pages to be chaotic & frustrating.
Yeah, I agree. I hope they work on this issue. Plus the search is awful. I love Zazzle too, I know I sound like I've been griping about it a lot sometimes, but glitches are very frustrating and when you rely on this for income, we all hope and pray they get these glitches all fixed!
Cat here. You're right that there's a lot of clicking around to find things, so there's plenty of room for improvement. But I do think that this new system offers a lot more clues to the customer that there are matching products to be found (even if they can't find them), than the old system where the collection was a lot easier to miss (IMHO.) Knowing Zazzle, I'm quite sure that things will continue to evolve and hopefully improve!
NO about the “old grumpy lady” thought. Zazzle makes it too difficult. To “stepp-ee” as in too many steps. A clickable button to “view collection” is SO necessary. And a big YES Agreed to your Amazon example about products that include other product images.
I totally agree and when these collection formats first launched I kept trying to find the view full collection button and was super shocked that there isn't one. To me it seems so logical.
I agree with you Lisa! It’s too many steps. People want instant. They don’t want to be clicking a bunch of stuff and most don’t know to. I had a customer message me today. She was buying wedding place cards and wanted to know if I had champagne bottle labels. Those were already in the collection. Before I could get back t8 her she did let me know she did find them but the fact that she had to click around to find them is annoying! I totally agree they need to make it simple. Make a shop the collection button under the title or somewhere easy to see that takes you to the entire collection. It’s easy to lose a sale of someone can’t find what they are looking for and a lot of customers don’t know to message the seller. She also asked for me to remove some items from the place holders and I did that and she actually bought them! So I’m glad you made this video. Zazzle needs to listen to their artists a bit more. We are the ones dealing with the customer a lot of times.
How cool is that! Always listen to what your customer wants! I'm glad you made an excellent sale! I'm wondering can we use the words " view collection " as a tag or will we get dinged for it?
Congrats on the sale Gail. Agree with everything you just said. Plus I do all this on a computer with a big old screen, I can't imagine finding all these small steps on a phone which is what most people shop on nowadays.
Yes, in this video I show you how to make a collage photo for your collection, then at 8 minutes in exactly, I show you where you upload it to make it your collection cover. ruclips.net/video/nIhtTcH8omE/видео.html And sorry about forgetting to turn off m y fan in this video haha! I can hear it in the background.
Zazzle improved a lot over the years and definitely the new display is much better then before, even more pleasant to the eye...BUT I agree on simplifying even more how the customer gets to see a collection. It's important to show choices but when the customer chose what they want, then it's more important to show them the collection of matching products as easy as for a person that is the first time on the site. If for us that browse Zazzle every day it's confusing...how is the first time for a customer?
They are doing good and making updates every day to the site! This is what I am finding I like the best for me personally on SHD. So, when you make a pin from SHD and share it on pinterest, then a customer clicks on it, it goes straight to your product, not a landing page like when you share it from Zazzle. It's one less step for the customer, which I'm all about. Nowadays everyone wants things instantly, and when sharing from SHD that is what they get. My sales increased the last two months. Not back to where I was the last ten years, but better then I was doing four months ago, each month is going up slightly, last month i made over $700 in sales, a couple years ago it would of been a couple thousand. So overall I am still in that funk of dropping sales like everyone else, but I was starting to have some $300 dollar months for the first time in many years on Zazzle this year, so seeing that increase the last three months was nice Still hoping the rise continues to get back to where I was, and I wish that for everyone. Is the rise due to SHD? There is not a way to know that, but because of the rise I just added my last three shops to SHD that I hadn't yet. AEr you in SHD? Even if you are not you can still join their discord. Jim and Hui are always in there chatting and help so much with questions about it. Even if you just sign up for the free one. There are always discussions going on and Jim is always eager to hear what customers see and suggest.
@@HappyZazzlingyou can make a pin from Snuggles will need to look at that then if I understood you correctly. Thanks again Lisa nice to know it’s all worth it 😂
@@focusweddings Yes, here are my tutorials on how SHD works. The first video in here is how to make pins from there. ruclips.net/video/E7yqoNz5SlI/видео.html
Lisa, put the collage picture first & then that will give the customer when they hover over it to view r the collection. Does that make any sense to you (less steps)?
Yeah but I never do that because I find it confusing. LIke if I went on Amazon, and then clicked on a product and a collage of products came up, I would be like, hmm which product is this for? And might think it cluttered or spammy. You know how it is when you click a product on pinterest and it takes you somewhere else? I'm just not a big fan of these collage pictures. I think they look cluttered and confusing. I think just a nice button that says "see matching items here" would be good.

Yeah if it's hard for us creators on there, it's gotta be hard for customers to understand. Thanks Megan.
