You guys are the hidden treasure on RUclips for an Industrial Design student like me from South Africa, I’ve learnt so much from all your videos. Keep doing what you do because you’re doing it from the heart. Thank you
the exploitation of most of the jean prouvé furniture at those crazy prices still makes me sad: it was as the french say a bon citoyen, a good citizen which did furniture and cheap easy to assemble houses for the people, he died almost poor and this ‘speculation’ came many years after his death. He’s the man behind most of the high tech architecture of the nineties: he inspired the centre pompidou and architects like rogers or foster

You guys can talk about whatever I just enjoy the content 👍🏼
Makes us very happy to hear, thank you!
Thank you.
Is the salon armchair an original Prouve or just derivative? Just discovered your channel and I’m binging now hahaha 👍🏼👍🏼
We're not sure, but according to Vitra the model was found in the Prouvé archives. It's quite similar to the Direction chairs.
Thanks for replying ☺️

Totally agree. It’s sad and somewhat frustrating to see his furniture sold for millions.
