What did you use to clean the cartridge? Is it baby wipes? I always just used a damp paper towel which I soaked in a little sunlight dish soap and water.

I normally use the eraser at the end of a pencil to clean the circuit pins, since there are no chemicals involved, and it clean perfectly.
