here is a tip from a guy that gets an SOJ quite often > Tranvincal councils and the councils in the chamber where u kill mephisto they drop rainbow facets, amulets. rings and high runes quite often if u want a soj kill them. its faster and u can do more runs on them which makes your chances of finding an soj higher than running andariel. with andy u gotta go through 3 levels of catacombs its just too long. High councils is way better (hell difficulty)
great video, still haven't dropped mine, but I have only been seriously farming for it for 10 hours. it may be interesting to see what the drop rate difference is between Andi and the council given that the council is on a static map where you end up wasting a ton of time on Andi going back and forth. now that we don't have to worry about "Realm down" we will be able to knock out a ton of Trav runs, especially since they may be one of the best places to drop Ber rune in Hell.
@@jeffkrawchuk2518 partly right. Nightmare Andi is mLvL 49 which means she can drop Nagel (10) Manald (20) and SOJ (39). Nagel and Manald have a rarity of 15 and Soj has a rarity of 1. so each unique ring dropped by her is a 1:31 odds of being a SOJ. the Council members are mLvL 56 which means they pick up the chance to drop Dwarf star and Raven frost (53) at 10 each. So each unique ring from the NM council has a 1:51 chance of being SOJ. The question becomes: how much faster can you get rings at the council? is it fast enough to overcome the nearly 2:1 odds in favor of Andi? probably not on single player where you have fixed maps, but online it starts to be hard to say because of all the time you waste on Cat 2/3. the next area to consider would be the Specter in Arcane sanctuary, as they cant drop weapons and armor so they have a higher-than-average drop rate of jewelry and at mLvL 48 can only drop the same 3 as Andi. its a fixed map so it may be just as fast as Trav. Food for thought I guess.

I responded to Jeff off my comment but I am starting to wonder about Act 2 myself. Please do not do this. Please do not do this. PLEASE do not do this. You will be severely disappointed. This is indeed the best way to farm soj. 1 in 9000 is insane. PLEASE do not do this to try and find soj. This guy is not trolling, he's serious.
You say that, but Andy dropped one for me once like 15 years ago.
