I have to say, I would’ve never expected my voice to be part of something truly amazing. This series has meant a lot to me growing up, and I feel truly honored to have the opportunity to fill the role of such an amazing character. I’m really looking forward to the future of this channel and everything else going forward. What happened next
This was a pretty powerful part in the Archie canon-- even if Fiona played a BIG part of Tails fighting Sonic, he also got upset about the idea Sonic would let his dad Amadeus rot in jail, which is one reason he said "But everything I care about, you take away from me!", since it isn't just about Fiona, and how Sonic was selfish to go out with her when he was having a rough time once he broke up with Sally, even if he knew Tails was in love with Fiona, and in spite of her not having any interest in him at all.
Will he don't like her that, So I don't understand why claim fiona his girlfriend. But he don't act like boyfriend to her.
yeah, when he mention fiona, I felt a whole crowd gasp!
@@danedmondson7604 Mmhmm. And let's face it, Tails even dropped her back in issue 174 when he and Sonic are walking to check on Antoine before he and Bunnie tie the knot, with Tails saying he hoped something would have happened for him and Fiona,.
Those villains in jail actually had nice jokes! I like their reactions to Sonic and Tails fighting each other!

I'm going to be honest, I hate how Sonic says "Tails warships me, he'll get over it" Like that sounds like something a villain would say but Sonic, he just comes as more unlikeable than Fleetway Sonic, yeah Fleetway Sonic teases and demeans Tails but it was more in an older brother way, Archie Sonic says this right out of the blue.

In the context of the issues before this it actually does make sense. Ian wrote him this way for a reason. It would have actually been weirder if it didn't play out like this given both of their built up frustration.
Well that's the thing, Sonic is naturally cocky and in the Archie Comics has a lot of times where his ego is overly inflated. That was a very callous thing to say in front of his parents, no matter what the intention was meant. That's just a running issue with Sonic in general, he never thinks about the consequences of his actions and every now and again it's good to see that brought to the surface and often by a character you wouldn't think of. Sure, Sonic obviously and easily would have won the fight if he took it seriously but that's not what this was about. Tails is a capable fighter after all the years the two of them fought alongside each other but the bigger reason Sonic went along with everything was to figure out exactly what Tails was so upset about. To Sonic, Tail's parents are important but it's not like he developed a strong relationship with them like Tails himself. Truthfully, the situation could have been handled a lot better is Sonic chose something else to say. But again, that goes with his character. Whether or not you like the adaptation, you have to admit that it is a good thing once in awhile to have characters work out their problems instead of blankly going about the story. We still see that in modern Sonic media but I feel like the dynamics and relationships were more flushed out in the Archie Comics.

I guess he knew what he was doing it was all planned ian can be genius sometimes with the stories he tell in a best way possible and everything is add up and make sense hell he carried this DNA of writing for IDW aswell Forexample in issue 50 when he was writing the battle of dr.starline and dr.eggman in their final conflict when eggman defeated Starline and outsmarted him like...the way he outsmarted Starline and defeated him was in the best way possible that everything made perfect sense and add up as in how did Eggman outsmarted him in the best way possible and that was really neat to read! Huh...perhaps maybe Ian flynn ain't that bad of a writer as people making him out to be in online

@liamgaming6752 You can't just sweep all of the bad stuff under the rug, even though that's what happened later on when the comics get rebooted. Loose ends must be tied up or else the fans complain. And trust me, the fans *did* complain.
I really love this issue! It confronts Sonic on his cocky and arrogant behavior towards Tails and how he treated him and tries to fix it. That and I love seeing these two argue

I think its pretty damn cool that we’re finally seeing tails have some strength and combat skills, because we QUITE LITERALLY NEVER SEE IT HAPPEN. He is always a wuss, and thats not how is character should be. He is sonics sidekick, and he’s more than capable of being such.

Look tails is a brother to me. You may be his real family , but I grew up with him for years. This going onto be tough on him but he will get over it. We will get through this. I don’t want to separate you but I don’t want this kingdom to fall apart. You are committing treason, there is another way to let your voice be heard. We are in the middle of a war with eggman. We don’t have time to be fighting amongst ourselves. Using tails blind love for you to help you inst the healthy way to bond with your child. He is smart still an 11 year old kid I don’t want him to be locked up because he helpped his parents start a coup.
