I totally agree. Michael has become a seriously talented choreographer and nobody dances his choreography better than Michael himself!
I don’t know what ya’ll talking about. This girl shows emotion, but it’s just different from Maddie’s. This girl shows a “I want to love you, but I don’t know if I can trust you” kind of vibe. Maddie’s emotion is more of a “I love you and I just can’t let you go” vibe. What I take form this dance is 2 consorte strangers just so happen to run into each other. Her emotions might not be visible to all, but that’s only because a lot of people expect to just see emotion, if you understand what I mean. Emotion isn’t always seen. And that’s what I like about this girl, she makes you really think about the story that this dance tells by the choreography and not just facial expression.
This is one of the most beautiful things I've seen all day....the world needs more people like you💙💙

Tbh, I like her emotional configuration better than Maddie. We all love Maddie but I feel this choreography more in with this dancer
I was thinking this but didn’t know the words!! So glad someone else reads body movement like me. Maddie moved so much freer and breathier and this dancer was restricted but strong! Her movement like her emotion was strong but closed off in a good way!

I thought Maddie was just as good and they said he dumbed down the choreography for her ! Well this is the same choreography!
this was much faster and she was short and most of her turns were not full with maddie you felt emotion through the screen.
This one if about technique. The one with Maddie shows the emotion

Because the camera is further away they concentrated more on technique and made their movement more dramatic while the one with maddie the camera was closer so they had to show a lot more emotion I feel

Idk how to put words to describe how I feel when watching this. This is more than dreamy, and breathtaking.. This is the purest form of art I've ever seen and I really am addicted now.. I love this duo and the music.. It's ✨ perfection ✨
i preferred this version, the girl here is way more powerful, her lignes are cleaner, she is putting intention in her movements, she can actually keep up with Michael, while Maddie was a bit late, she is actually good in showing the artistic side, showing emotions but when it comes to the movement I'm sorry she is far from being the best, eden was better here! sorry...

I totally agree. There is strength in Michael's dancing that I have always felt for years Maddie couldn't match. So glad I'm not the only one who prefers Eden.

I actually like this version better than the one where he’s dancing with Maddie. Not because that one wasn’t just as good but with Maddie it was softer and graceful and it had a softer feel to it with this one it’s more passionate it feels more connected to the lyrics in a way. Both are extremely good and beautiful it just depends on which vibe you prefer more
Maddie was way better her emotions were different and you could have felt the connection between her and Michael. I don't feel it with this girl at all...
Ayoka Valentine maybe think about the fact that here they are further away and u can’t see her face. Even if she isn’t the same as Maddie with her emotions it doesn’t matter. Dance is a way to express YOURSELF not how others want u to see the emotion they wanna see. Just appreciate the talent and stop criticising her.

i don’t know about y’all but i kinda like this version better it. this girl has a kinda “i love you but i don’t know if we can be together” type of vibe but with maddie it was “i love you and i want you to be mine” and i like how she portrays how she loves him but can’t be with him
Absolutely love this performance! Different enough from the Michael/Maddie video to feel like a real gift. The stage lighting and wider view means Michael's choreography does most of the storytelling. Beautifully executed by two extremely talented dancers that I cannot stop watching. Every second is phenomenal, but the simplicity of the ending (1:35) takes my breath away.
When Didier did it everyone said he dumbed it down for her! Now the simplicity is phenomenal? Really ,Maddie was just as good ,they just had a better staging situation! I was a professional dancer on Broadway Vegas and Europe, so I can tell you it makes a huge difference!
@@rachelcole8765 Well, I don't know what anyone else said about the other video, but there were so many comments on that one, I didn't read them all. I confess I didn't know who Maddie was at the time, I liked their duet quite a bit. I think Michael has great partner skills and love his choreography. I prefer the simple ending on this version even though it is quiet and 'simple'. I'm not saying the entire dance is simple. Not at all. Michael and Eden did a duet a few years ago to the song Helium and I think they dance beautifully together so I LOVED seeing them together again. I'm sorry you chose to see something negative in what I thought was a positive review. To each his own, I guess.
