Us fan here who was at that match. A very valid evaluation and well articulated 👍
Nice stadium, atmosphere, sensible stewarts, good staff and parking. Police were reasonable apart from one zealous officer.
Shall go to the cup tie too.

Oxford fan - fair summary. Shame we couldn't hang on for that point, but Cov better side. I think that was Ruben Rodrigues with the Lowest Header Of All Time(tm) :)

Thank you for the player name check! We'll have to get an official measurement on it, but pretty sure he was below sea level when Ruben made contact! 🤣

As a cov fan this was frustrating tp watch at time, on the front foot we were great to watch, and credit to Oxford's keeper for some great saves...the 35% or so that Oxford did have the ball, man we looked so disorganized.

I agree with both points there. Great on the ball, quite fragile without it. Thanks for the comment, really appreciate you taking the time.

Good summary, if COV get their defence in order, maybe the odd loanee in they could be in the top 6,just not quite there. Your right, Oxford didnt create much, but still scored twice.

If think Cov will be one of the most entertaining teams to watch this season off the back of that performance. Ipswich conceded a lot of goals last season but stayed committed to attacking football. It can be done!

Yep, off the ball we looked unorganized, the second goal was shambolic, Torp didn't track his man, and the defence just watched as it kind of floated into the net.

Good performance from Oxford but as season goes on they will need more strength in depth. It’s a long season but well played from a Coventry fan

It's a long tough season and the promoted teams will need to be lucky with injuries and keep suspensions to a minimum. Coventry looked great on the ball, very impressed with their combination play in the middle of the pitch and the wide players. Thanks for the comment, great to hear from you.

That was the lowest header by Rodriguez for Oxford since Chey Dunkley for Oxford at Crawley 2016 which was almost as low 😂😂

🤣🤣🤣 I'll have to look that one up. If I can find a clip i'll try and do a comparison video to see which was lower. Thanks for your comment, it's going to take me down a rabbit hole i'm sure! 😄

@@AttackingtheChampionship probably no clip as it was when he was pushing up in midfield in the game he decided to use his head instead of his foot.I was at the game and laughed so much.

They've got excellent chemistry down that right side. If they keep playing like that they'll certainly attract some attention.
