Nicola, please get yourself a warm waterproof winter coat with a hood and a lining! Your loyal viewers are freezing just watching you! Love from the U.S.
Oh Nicola and Simon! I’m lying in bed with the air conditioner turned down to 20C as it’s turned hot and humid. We’ve just had a thunderstorm and the air has cleared a bit. To be honest, I have forgotten how cold that sleet and wind can be. I lived in Aberdeen for years, I know cold, but here in the sunny Bay of Plenty, my memories of that bitter, biting cold have faded into the mist….. thank goodness 😅 thank you for doing the Cold Hunts for the rest of us. I was watching your 🙌🏻….bright red with cold. I felt for you. Some of your camera work is great. You two make such incredibly watchable videos. Thank you. 🌞🌞🌞🌞
Hahahahaha Si pans around and there you are, sitting out in the middle of the mud like you are sitting on a park bench in a lush green park on a sunny day! Thank you for sharing another great video! I love seeing all your fantastic finds! Freezing and still being snowed in , Michigan 🇺🇸⛄❄❤
Nicola I have been watching you for a couple of years. You and Si seem to be together more and more. You guys really are the perfect couple. If you can find someone with the same interests as Mud and Art I think there is a history to be had. Might say (two who mud together will certainly stick together!} LOL !! Might be some mud chemistry there.
Roman artifacts just fascinate me! They aren't just functional, but there's some style and decoration to them too, not plain and boring .. but a bit of artistic beauty for their everyday household kitchen / dining items .. love it! Bless ..
Your bird clips thrill me. I’m sitting on my perch in the coastal mountains of Northern California admiring your swans, sandpipers and wagtails. As an avid birder, or twitcher?, I seldom travel but I knew immediately when a white wagtail appeared in my county I would go look for the wayward bird. Your recent video clip of a wagtail reminded me of this beautiful but elusive bird in California. Your treasures are no less thrilling. Roman pottery, toys, bottles, pipes are items that allow you to touch the past. You well deserve the 100,000. Brava Nicola.
Nicola it’s us that should be thanking you, watching your videos is an absolute joy, I’ve been enjoying them for 4 years I do believe now. You & Simon are brilliant 👍🏻👍🏻 definitely helped us through lockdown ❤️❤️❤️ xxxxx
You two are tuff! Out in the cold and rain! But that’s why you find the greatest stuff/history items!! Kudos to you! ❤️❤️ hope you stayed relatively dry out there. Stay safe!
I hope to see more of you and si fie together doing more mud larking i think you make a good team together. No you are a good team hope to see more of you two together soon.
Thanks Nicola. I know you had to be extremely glad to get out of the nasty weather. The plant specimen looks like it could be a beautiful fire coral. If it is what I think it is then I'm glad that you didn't touch it bare handed. It is called fire coral not just because of its fiery color but it stings like you have put your skin into a raging fire. Even after it has dried out it still packs a punch. Much Love
It won't be long before you reach that, 100,000 mark, you have a great personality, and wealth of knowledge. You had me hooked the first time I seen your video. Loved that porthole, I wish you could have taken that home with you. You found some amazing pieces, we would never find the things you do, in America, England is such an ancient country. Thank you for the video.
This video has ,if you don’t mind me saying,a strangely dark tone to it! I like that, the howl of the wind, the imminent suggestion of bad weather. And yet, throughout all of that, you still look super adorable, all bundled up in your cold weather gear!
BRRR!!!! I remember how cold the wind was coming from the North Sea in Felixstowe!! Great mudlarking but you looked cold. We have a foot of snow right now here where we are in Eastern Oregon. Am glad Simon was with you.Thank you for letting us go mudlarking with you,
Great to see you and Si together both leaning forward towards the wind and rain buckets in hands. You sure that orange thing was not a plastic ball with gunk all over it 😊👍😉 love and light
Nic! Your madness, our win! No way I’d be out there. So good you and Simon could be there morally supporting each other in that horrible weather. Thanks so much for sharing your treasures with us, your devoted fans.
Yeah here in Australia it's another reminder of just how new modern society is here, all the artifacts from my ancestors are on the other side of the world!
I was fortunate to find Roman tesserae in a pothole, still fixed to a surface about 6 inches down. It was duly logged by the County Archaeologist before being covered up again. I don't when it will ever be investigated. I often think of it when I cross over the road.
That was one bitterly cold day wet and by the sound very windy so i must thank you for taking me along despite me sitting in the warm .i think you should go back and get the porthole it would make a fabulous feature on a wall.
Another wonderful video, Nic! You looked like you were ready to stay resting on the wicker chair. Really loved the Roman stuff! And the photo of Steptoe and son’s wagon! It could really be theirs! You and Si will go anywhere in any weather. You two are Bonkers the extremes you go to.But thanks for doing it. We 99,999 subscribers all love ❤️ it. And you have come a looooong way and now do a very professional job. Good on ya mate! Keep at it, for our sake. We’d miss you if you ever gave it up.
On a snowy Yakima solstice I find myself singing, to the tune of White Christmas. I’m dreaming of a sherd of Roman, set on an old Thames driftwood plinth, copper nails holding, upright a piece of history, Nicola shared upon RUclips.
Usch! what a blustery cold mudlark trip! 🌬❄ I could practically feel it through the screen! 🤣 You should retrieve that porthole, Nic! It would look fabulous in your workshop 😉 Thank you for the adventure - love from Denmark 🌸💕
Hope you guys got warm after that great adventure out there in the cold I appreciate it your time out there in the cold and were in the warm now it's warm in Texas now to day better than before you guys stay blessed🙏👍👍💯💘
You both should have a TV SHOW xxx I LOVE you both. So interesting and I learn more each episode. Iv learnt more from you both than any history lesson at school.
Besides the mud, water and ancient relics -- it is heartening to see life. The marsh grass, the birds -- and of course the two intrepid Mudlarkius Humanus caught on camera!!!!
@@nicolawhitemudlark -- Thank you!!! I'm still working on the "Mudlarking In The USA" lyrics -- should have those done sometime this week. Glad I found this channel, your videos are a perfect fit in a rotation of other things like fishing and cooking and people tinkering with stuff in the shed etc when I want to have a lazy couple hours watching relaxing stuff with some nice cups of tea!

Wonderful video Nicola. The sunken boats and howling wind were downright creepy. Loved it. The Roman relics are my favorites. I've always been intrigued by ancient Rome. Thanks for the great video.

You two picked quite the weather day to go mudlarking. I actually prefer the snow that we have rather then the wind and rain. Well done hanging in there to find some treasures in the mud.
Wow! You are both so resilient to that freezing weather. Cant help but admire your pluck and courage!
