- Swapping out my side repeaters for some eBay bought dynamic lights as one of the OEM ones were not working.

Just pops off really 👍 with trim removal tools helps

Just saying that the plug connector didn’t connect back up as well as it should have….it was a bit loose so had to use a little hot glue to keep it in place 👍
@@phdiy3913 ok thank you. I have a 2014 CC, and I just ordered mine from aliexpress. So I’m gonna look out for that when I install it. Will tape work fine if I don’t want to glue it?
Not sure you will just need to wait and see, it may well be ok or the fitting may be fine as they mirrors could be slightly different and yours may connect just fine…..fingers crossed they do 👍
@@phdiy3913 ok I just got mine, and yes the connector won’t fit all the way. Can you share a clip on how you superglued them together?
Do you have to change the hole lamp if the indicator light is not working, but the doen light is.?
The down light is a separate bulb if I remember correctly this kit is just for the indicator itself, hope this helps 👍
Bro I got a new wing mirror lamp because the indicator was out but the puddel light was working so I changed the hole lamp but now the puddel light is not working changed the bulb and all 🙄🙄 the joys
@@bigwon4056 typical eh….have you checked the contacts on the puddle light maybe get some electrical contact spray or something

Just off eBay pal….they are the same ones for golf, scirocco etc etc approx £20 or so

@@adili7729 yes I’m pretty sure that’s what I bought too, on eBay it says golf scirocco etc etc just read some of the reviews as well…pretty sure they were only about £15 or something
@@phdiy3913 great stuff mate just another question do your lights turn blue when you unlock the car as there’s 2 different types I have seen on eBay.. Thankyou for the reply .
@@adili7729 mine are amber same as indicators and they function when locking and unlocking
