Just back last night did it in suv and slept in car very comfortable and i cooked my own food etc took me back to my youth. What was needed just after coming out of lockdown. Great video really old fashioned type camping.
You lucky ducks! Looks beautiful. Hubby and I are there this October. So calming watching this as though I’m there. Thx for adding to our excitement. 👏
Very scenic. It''s like the mountainous desert here.. same type of medium rocky mountains (treeless in many places with low bush) yet green and lots of water. So much better. You have to give your daughter the Landrover 110 that she did a video of.. or sell it to her very discounted.. after you're done with it. Give her something to look forward to. She's a gem.
I always tell people to do it anti-clockwise as the scenery gets better each day going that way. But with that weather you got on the west coast then you made the right choice.
New subscriber here, what a amazing way to travel, the views wow Scotland really is something else, you are both lovely people, what about the girl on the bike!!?WOW SHE WAS AMAZING, also been watching your daughter's videos, you both must be so proud of her, it's been amazing viewing and makes me proud to be SCOTTISH 🏴👍
How's it going mate love your RUclips channel would be nice to do a camp out with you mate my favourite video is when you was in the Welsh mountains heating up that diesel heater brilliant take care mate
Really like your Defender. I live in Nebraska...I have a F250 with a custom pop-up camper...but I'd go for a rig like yours in a minute. Appreciate your outdoor spirit. )
Next time if you want to see stags, go into apple Cross village and as you follow the road past the village it has loads of stags there, it's best to go as dusk is starting to come in. Last time we were there there were 30+ Stags and Does of all ages and they come up close to you as they're use to humans.
Loving ya videos m8ty...any chance you can share the dtls of location you stopped off and stayed over at? I'm off with my roof top in a few weeks on me lonesome and it seems you found some awesome places without having to spend a bundle...be blessed m8.

We left in late September 👍👍
People put so much effort in to trying to turn a van in to a house lol, those types should just get a hotel 😂😂 nice LR, from toridon
What do you think to the Ventura roof top tent. Have you had any issues with mildew?
My tent is made by tufftrek and had no problems. I have a new tent now made by Alucab 👍👍
Probably better doing the nc500 anti clockwise and looping back on the Bealach na Ba.
Great idea 👍👍
