excellent intro as always.Personally I think that the RUS UA perm would perform better on cubes which have magnets on the weaker side as then it would require less force.btw,enjoyed your video

@@CubeHead One point I also want to mention is that cubes which remain stable even with lighter magnets(for example the rs3m v5)because a cube which is unstable with weaker magnets wont be good for such finger tricks

5:10 I used to main this alg a few years ago but switched off since the old one seems faster for me, I might consider using this alg again

the F perm you could do the F’ with index and U with pinch, then S with middle
we can never forget luke's legendary RUS ua perm
also for the alternative RUS ub perm alg, you can roll R2
The Z perm secret sauce is using the right then left ring finger for the M2s!

I watched this video and realized that I knew most of this alg but I already started learning that ones from previous video. So I thought that I need tp learn new alg and then u show us this video and I was like: oh I know this. Next time please tell us if there is faster or another video coming even if u say yeah this are the best ones. Anyways GREAT VIDEO👍

The rotation v perm is good for big cubes
most of the top algs for any PLL can be the fastest if they are practiced enough also, one thing this doesnt take into account is if the alg can be done from any starting grip

Hey CubeHead What Is Your Favourite 2x2?
hey cubehead ive been cubing for 2 weeks and usually i get 38 secconds and i recntly watched your beginer cfop videos and now i use full begginer cfop (im learning the advanced cfop too) and the thing is i just want to know what sub is or like when people say i got sub 30 like what does that mean??? and also how average works like what does avrage of 5 mean?

i actually once used that na perm but switched to the inverse bc the inverse is much easier to do (only 1 push and doesn’t have a weird startup) and now i can do it in like 1.3 but i cant do the standard even below 1.6, definitely think that the inverse of the na perm you showed should be like 8/10 worthiness
Inverse is slightly worse because of F' start
@@cookierobber regular is much worse because R F start is very inconsistent

@@cookierobber i did practice a bit after you commented but i still cant get the R F one to be as fast as the inverse, inverse i can do down to 1.2 but R F only down to 1.3
@@eeaaaeaeae Practice it more lol. New fingertricks take a while to get used to, and right ring push is something you may not be using in any other algs. If you can do the rUDF Nb perm without the start feeling awkward that should tell you something tho

Are you planning on doing OLL in this series too? If you are, I would recommend checking out Brian Sun's S move dot OLLs, I believe he has the fastest executions with those.

My main a perm is a T perm but the R moves are wide. So as follows:
r, U, r', U', r', F, r2, U', r', U', r, U, r', F'
And *don't* say you use a different T perm than:
R, U, R', U', R', F, R2, U', R', U', R, U, R', F'
just saying, the one with D2 is better
