These Taliban fighters trained on 7th century drills cannot really match the wrath of the Pakistan army, air force which can annihilate them in a pitched battle. All they can do is execute ambushes and guerilla warfare on Pakistan whereas in a conventional conflict, the Pakistan army, which is a conventional beast, slams them. The Pakistan military has experience in fighting against the mighty Indian army (in Kashmir/LoC). These Taliban fighters trained on 7th century drills cannot really match the wrath of the Pakistan army, air force which can annihilate them in a pitched battle.
All they can do is execute ambushes and guerilla warfare on Pakistan whereas in a conventional conflict, the Pakistan army, which is a conventional beast, slams them. (Conventional warfare includes the traditional way of fighting like including infantry with mechanized/armored units like tanks/vehicles and artillery/air support)
