I really like the idea of building up to the Joker. I also think the first movie did a great job of not trying to pack too many villains into one movie which is a problem that a lot of superhero movies have, especially the 90s Batman movies. I'm excited to see whatever The Penguin has been building towards in The Batman 2 and to watch it all come to fruition in #3.
I’m in love with the world of The Batman and I think the first movie leaves a lot of clues as to what’s coming and with the shows they can further explore that.
I would like the Joker series to be the Arkham series, what I think would be cool would be Joker is the character, that connects all the other characters in Arkham, and Joker is recruiting people and creating the new class of criminals. Just how we saw at the end of The Batman with Riddler meeting “unnamed criminal” and the 2 of them becoming friends. So when we do get Batman 3, Joker has a whole gang
I personally think we have too much joker, but i hope it's good nonetheless. I think james gunn of all people knows that we're tired of joker so there's that at least, you can tell by that bane and deathstroke announcment.
Joker, I feel can withstand multiple iterations at a time-I also think a series would be a good way of separating this Joker from other versions. The Bane and Deathstroke announcement I wonder if it’s a secret six movie or another suicide squad.

I feel the Arkham series probably got too big or evolved into something else that’s why they cancelled it
I dont want joker with an origin. I want Joker as an agent of chaos who remains mysterious.
I think they can achieve that with a series, they don’t necessarily have to show an origin but maybe how his evil grows in Gotham.
