This is an awesome vid. I picked up the antelope mk 1 system a year ago and wondered how good direct sounds I could get with the amp / bass mods. Thanks for posting up this vid as you are getting some really great sounds.

Hi there, I'm considering the Synergy 8 Core and I also use cubase. Do you use the inbord FPGA/DSP fx routing from cubase track inserts i/o to the antelope mixer and back to cubase? I wonder how that works, but it would be better if they make a VST GUI. Another question, are you happy with sonarworks, is it helping your mixes translating? That's another thing I'm considering.
great video.. you can monitor with no latency with wave plugs in cubase just turn your buffer down to 64 or lower put plug on input channel

Do you have any experience with Prism interfaces?? I'm looking to build a new rig mostly for mixing but also vocal over dubs. I love Prism but they are very expensive is Antelope on par with Prism quality? Anyone can chime in on this would be very helpful.
Playing bass with a pick is great for metal, especially if you already hit the strings like a mack truck lol.

ORPA I didn’t install the driver right the first time but other than that it was really smooth honestly.
Now with all the latest firmware updates...they are all really very very Stable

Can i run vsts in the dsp? Like run a helix or a bias fx using the interface dsp or use autotune?
They have Antares auto tune synergy edition. If you go on vintage king audio they got a deal where you get the solo mic, auto tune and the 50 fx for the price of the interface
the plug ins sound really bad
dude, how many EQs are you layering? just get a 20 band parametric and spare yourself the sound degradation.
Andrei Taranu depends where in the chain the EQ is, pre EQ, post EQ etc, most of the time it’s micro movements!
Different EQs sound different and there is no degradation. Some are better for boosting and others are better a cutting frequencies but nothing wrong with multiple Eqs in your chain.
How come there’s no bass players?
They all bought 7 strings and started djent.

Nolan Neal Seals of course it does. Sonarworks is a room correction software which has been equipped for the problems with my room!
you use SONARWORKS only when you mix , when you export - you turn it off

I am sorry, but going thru that many plugins, is just not normal. Its like you are in fix it mode, from the second ya start, as apposed to hetting a killer sound, right from the amp. And metal guitar is already compressed at the get go. I think ya lost the sound before ya even started.
