@@TheChronoShadow Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed! Sounds good, I look forward to your perspective in 2045 and I'll see what I can do about a campaign run ;)
Fantastic video man, sad to see the servers go but what a game. This is peak battlefield and I’ll die on that hill, this video brought some serious smiles to my face :)
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I'll be dying on that hill right next to you! I think BF3 was the peak in many ways and this game will probably always live on as my favourite game, ever!
brings back memories. i was still a teenager when this released and i played it. never got the trophy for the sniper mission lol. wish Battlefield was still as good as back then. BF Bad Company 2 until BF4 was just amazing. BF1 was great too, but the WW1 setting isnt as interesting for longer playtime imo.
I was also a teenager when this game came out and I remember it being the pinnacle of most lunchtime conversations in high school (among a million other topics). I was pretty shocked when I looked and was missing so many trophies from the co-op missions as I thought I had a majority of them. I'm still hoping that Battlefield will eventually return to the heights it was at. Maybe Delta Force will help force their hand into something great again, but we'll have to see. 2042 has come around quite a bit since launch and I'll be watching the new game currently underway to see if they improve even further or not. As for the other Battlefield games, I agree with that evaluation. I never got into BFV as I wasn't a huge fan of the BF1 / Battlefront movement but BF1 and 4 are still popping from what I've seen and played recently.
Good times indeed! Playing through it again gave me moments of "oh right, this was a thing" and then suddenly remembering all of the missions and memories attached therein.
I hope you enjoyed our little trip down memory lane! What was YOUR favourite Battlefield 3 moment, feature, or memory? One of my earliest memories is playing Battlefield 3 at TheChronoShadow's house and immediately crashing a helicopter after being SO excited to try them. Gotta hate the default helicopter controls!
That's insane this makes me feel so old, I understand why they did it tho have been checking the steam charts on bf3 n bf4 and it's not looking good, on weekdays it's max 1k players a day, so sad to see the them go 😔
I'm with you there, crazy to think that this came out 13-14 years ago at this point. I'm sure Battlefield 4 will still live on for a few years, however the day is coming where it too may face the same fate sadly. But on the bright side, be happy that you got to experience these games and their awesomeness. I can't say I'm optimistic that we'll get these experiences again with the way the industry is going.
EA has shut down my childhood :'( Was this because they wanted the players to move to the newer games as iirc 3 and 4 still had a very high player count on PC at least?
@@kaiwelford6924 Yeah, it sucks but I understand why they did it. All good things eventually come to an end. I believe it mostly had to do with the fact that there weren't many people still playing it. There were only 4-6 active servers, which weren't full at the end (on PS3). Plus the game is 13 years old and 2 console generations behind so it had an amazing run. I'm pretty sure the PC version is still active, however I haven't tried it as of yet, so that may be the saving grace for BF3 fans while it still lasts.
The last games of theirs that were actually good they murdered lol just after a BF copy (that does it better than they have in years) releases. EA and DICE are on the spectrum.
The PC version of Battlefield 3 is still operational (for now), although getting into servers may be difficult depending on the region. There aren't a terrible amount of servers online since most of the community seems to be split mostly between Battlefield 4, 1, and V. I do hope that Delta Force will bring pressure to DICE and EA to turn things around over there and improve the next game(s). We'll just have to wait and see what happens with our fingers crossed and a skeptical mindset.
Yo video came out great homie, Thanks for the help again! dw ill upload my perspective in 20 years hehe and yes do the campaign

Holy shit I thought I had never heard of this mode until I recognized every mission you played. Good times
