The Strokes and Nirvana are the only bands of my generation that I truly admired and respect as great original talented popular and trend setting bands and they blew up within about 10 years of each other as did great bands did from decade to decade❤️Free unregulated music on the internet destroyed the royalties from album sales. It just doesn’t seem likely record companies to take chances on original music anymore; especially on rock bands😔
