I’ve read the Magnolia Parks series 3 times this year. I have this internal struggle with myself every time I get the urge to read it again because I know I have sooo many other books I should be reading but this series just makes me so happy ♥️
Am 150 pages in powerless and I’ve never been this giggly and happy about a book in years!! Its my first fantasy read ever and omg i understand why everyone was obsessed with fantasy ! Am obsessed !
Thank you so much for the warning about binding 13. I was planning on reading it, but domestic violence is a big trigger for me, so I try to avoid it in books. I’ve heard other booktubers talk about the series, but you’re the first one who pointed out the heavy topics. You always warn your viewers and I truly appreciate that. Thank you, Rachel 🩷
My favorite book of September was also Divine Rivals! A close second was The Seven Year Slip, which will (hopefully) be one of your favs for October!🌻📰💜
100% agree with divine rivals, I personally loved the slow parts of it. At the same time I was reading The last letter from Rebecca Yarros and both stories have the same vibes. Both also a bit of a slow burn and both main characters writing letters to each other back and forth.. those were my two favorite of the month. ❤❤❤
I felt the same about Yellowface! Addicting but don't know how to describe it😂 The first book I think I've read with such an unlikeable main character so it was definitely an interesting read!
my copy of powerless will be here in the next couple days. I'm so excited. Although, unlike you, I can't read more than 1 book at a time and I'm only 30% through 'things we left behind' and have been so busy at work I haven't had much time to read.
I’m halfway through the naturals series and are loving them. Binding and keeping are fantastic ❤❤❤❤ I’m halfway through keeping and I’m sucked in. I absolutely love the characters, the storyline, the representation of abuse and anxiety. Divine rivals is just so sweet…. Until that cliffhanger 😢
What a terrific reading month for you 😁 Currently reading Divine Rivals on my kindle and am about half way right now and loving it. Forget Me Not was my fav. Book I read in September, that book was perfection to me. Loved this video ❤
I think I’ve got an unpopular opinion here but I found the storyline to Powerless SO good but the writing style was just a bit off. Keep in mind I have just been reading Sarah J Maas so I could have set the bar high.
November release for the first 2 in the The Naturals series.....we can preorder them at QBD. Then we don't have a time for the next 2 as yet, but I would guess around February for those 2
Say you swear is a must read for October - it made me cry in the most unexpected way and the characters 😭 they go through so much🥺... Bonus is its on your October TBR 😉✨
Great selection of books and planning to finish the Naturals series in October. In September I read Killer Instinct, My Roommate Is A Vampire, The Ex Hex, and How to Walk Away. The only five star was Killer Instinct.
When you preorder wildfire months in advance from amazon you wait in all day for it delivered for them to say delivery was attempted but they never did… gutted so sad I couldn’t read this today.
G’day Rachel! I hope you’ll be able to read Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine and Red, White and Royal Blue next time. You would love them as much as I do. Keep safe! ❤
Rachel I truly truly love to read books so so so much and I was eagerly waiting for this video you are my inspiration and I wish you have a amazing week ahead💓💫😊
If Rachel made videos of spoiler summarizing once upon a broken heart and ballad of never after, I would loveee it because I want to read the last book coming out soon and I have no clue what happened in the first two and I don’t wanna read them again
Finished the renegades series & really enjoyed. Interested to see you reaction to it, especially the epilogue of book 3! Favorite book was definitely divine rivals! Read 10 books this month which is wild for me
Yayyyyyy, I haven't read either of them but they're on my immediate tbr... I'm hesitating with divine rivals just bcoz the second book isn't yet out but I just want to read it so badly
I did not see Threads that Bind on here but just wanted to let you know that your sharing intrigued me, also because that cover IS stunning! I enjoyed my read on that book & it was a 5 STARS FOR MEEEEEE 💘💘💘💘💘
im glad you enjoyed binding and keeping 13! i rated keeping 13 a five stars and then binding 13 a five stars. Also the next book is called "saving 6" and that book is in joey's pov and afoie! you'll really enjoy them. i understand that you think they are diffcult to read. i was struggling when i read keeping 13. xx ilyyyyyy 💖
I know that the books aren’t in this episode but I really want to get into Cassandra Clare’s books. She has multiple series but I was reading and apparently there all interconnected. I don’t know where to start… HELP!? ❤ I love your channel xxx
There are a lot of different ways to read the shadowhunter books and there are tons of guides online/RUclips that are helpful. Personally I recommend starting with the mortal instruments (TMI) first just because they are her earliest works and her writing improves so much as new books are released. I also think TMI is the best introduction to the complexity of the world building for new readers and so when you progress into the other series, it will be easier to understand the concepts of the world/lore. Hope this is anyway helpful ♡
the only book i read this month was 'the old man and the sea' by ernest hemingway, and my word was that not fun. but hopefully october will be a better reading month !!
I have not read the series but my friend who has told me to read throne of glass first because assassin’s blade has some spoilers for the first few books
I’m Australian too and I’ve never heard someone pronounce Jameson the way you do haha. But I figure since they also call him Jamie (jay-mie), it would be pronounced Jay-meson
September was also my best reading month ever!! Didn’t have many 5 stars but i LOVED soo many books!! (Read like 27 books and idk how i did that but i did😭)
i tried to read binding 13, i got over 200 pages in but just me who finds it so icky reading about such young characters acting and being treated like adults?
Do you not post normal (non-book related) content anymore? Most of us subscribed for your weekly vlogs, not five videos in a row about the same books literally every booktuber has read...
@@juliakoczor Rachel was a lifestyle vlogger for literal _years_ before she started the book content so I highly doubt all of those who subscribed from the beginning were just hanging around waiting for book content... I have no issue with the addition of book related content but when the channel seems to have completely shifted to another genre without any acknowledgement it's off-putting.
@kittster2785 Rachel can put whatever content she wants out maybe her weekly vlogs aren’t being received as well as her book content or she hasn’t had enough content for a weekly vlog - it is also start of the month which means monthly wrap ups and tbr videos.
can we praise the fact that her skin is flawlesss
The Naturals series is finally getting the love it deserves!
So so happy that you loved ballad of never after! I needed other people in the same painful limbo as me between the 2nd and 3rd book 😅
im so hyped for the last three months of 2023, i have a feeling it'll be an amazing reading trimester :P

i’ve read the first 3 books in the naturals series in less than a month. it’s very rare that i read that fast. i’m loving. this series. ❤️

I just finished Icebreaker today and I can’t wait to read wildfire! I want to be back with those characters
I recommend the Nevernight Chronicles x
I just started yellow face and I am loving it!! It’s so messed up tho haha
The premise of The Naturals reminds me of the Mysterious Benedict Society
If you loved Divine Rivals you have to read "Dreams Lie Beneath" also by Rebecca Ross and it's just as good!
Hi Rachel!!! I Love your channel so so so much!! You are amazing! Im so excited❤
do you think one can read wildfire if someone (me) DNFed icebreaker ? or do i HAVE to finish icebreaker? 😅
