or leave your drill steel bit side down. I guess I have been lucky, only once have I ever had a plugged water needle from leaving steel with chuck side in mud (and it was on a stopper) never had the problem with a jackleg
I'm intrigued - no ear protection? I guess there's a trade-off for using / not using them - it's be interesting to know what that is, because it _looks_ pretty loud
Jory Dion Ah, that makes sense. I've just seen some other of your videos and saw the plugs. must have missed them. I was expecting chainsaw style defenders for some reason.
Alot of people just use ear plugs even though it's strongly recommend using double hearing protection. But I've been using just ear plugs and just had a hearing test I'm still good
Jory, I have a friend I am building a video for. He is a disabled veteran that got in a coal mining accident a few years back. I asked him to look at youtube to try and find a video that depicts the work environment he was in when he was injured. Yours was it. I am wondering if you would be okay with me using a 5 second clip of your video for his story?
Nano Perez i think the comment was about driller working alone should have a helper ? I don’t have a helper here but I have workers not to far away keeping an eye on me ;)
@@JoryDion That's exactly what he was saying. I've only messed with a jackleg a little bit slashing open a decline so we could fit a track loader down it, but always had someone on the pig to kill the drill if the driller lost control. About had someone get pinned to a rib when the leg kicked out. Collaring when drilling nearly parallel to the rib sucks.
Mate the steel shouldn’t be bouncing like that nor should it be stalling play with your air more and find the sweet spot and use a steel ladder for you air leg very dangerous to have that slipping around like that I know this was 9 years ago I want to see how you drill now
All good points . Here is 6 years ago. ruclips.net/video/OCoiWpr-qj4/видео.html Video was recorded 15 years ago and posted 9 years ago so there is more then 3 years difference between the 2 videos
Wow i really appriciate you watching the details that closely. I see that you are correct the rotation is no good. Alot of times it takes several machines to make 1 good one chances are that was the least worse lol.
Just saw your video on the AvE channel.
Missing the double hearing protection
Came here from AvE's channel. Subscribed. Love the videos.
2yd jumbo stope. tank cuts, first round or two off of intersection, plug the road a little. done with a jackleg.
This was awesome to watch.
Glad you enjoyed. Check out some of my others
Great videos man keep up the good work.
Beau travail
Put a plank on the ground to put your steel on sow you don't damage your water tube.

What do you like using preferably on your knee holes to hold your leg from kicking out backwards.
