You can totally use these outside for the whole month of October. I have some animatronics from Distortions Unlimited and if you wrap any exposed electronics with plastic wrap or a plastics baggie and then cover that with gorilla tape they hold up just fine.
We're in MN...and between the snow we got, rain and 29° weather....mine quit working. I did wrap the electric components as best as I could. Disappointing...maybe I can repair it....we'll see
@@StewarTV sorry to hear that. im in MN too and mine have made it 2 seasons now. I did have one just randomly stop working after being in the store room for a year, but it's still better to have a static prop that everyone can enjoy than one that moves a little and is hidden away imo

What do you do with purple cord that connects the rib cage to the hips? Do you leave it sticking out? I’m having trouble with it
I was able to tuck it into the hollow plastic frame, then connect it all. Was a lil tricky at 1st

It is motion activated...if u leave it on doesn't take much to trigger it.

Yeah, unsure why. Thought it was weather related but then it worked fine later...i even tried a new power cord but that wasn't the issue

And in my package with the plug in I had something that looked like a snapper. Random?
I’m confused on the plugs between the pelvis and the rib cage. There are 3 on one and two on the other. There is an extra purple cord with nothing to attach it to. Anyone know what it goes to? I can’t get response form email or customer service number.
I can look at my instructions when I get home....don't recall 100%. The purple cord might be the motion sensor that is in the hip...I think the 2 plug fits into the 3 plug....2 go into the 2 openings the 3 plug creates......but I'll check this afternoon on mine

I figured it out. It was the digiteye plug. The one in the torso was just shoved up in there so I didn’t see it. Thanks for your help
