Just a small oversight, for some reason, I didn't add tables for the advancement values for BURN specifically (though I did show it on a graphic later), so I'll reproduce it here for reference: A1: 12.54% gain from A0 for Burn A3: 14.44% gain (total) A5: 20.96% gain (total) A6: 21.80% gain (total) And again, you should only really be running burn over gas if you have an invested Ruby (A3+); otherwise, sticking with Gas may prove more valuable!

Gateo is worse because he based on CN server which is different than annabella on global. the big difference, Maygi doing MATH with stats on global meanwhile Gateo putting Lan which is not even released yet and call it meta.
if you do some research in CN server fully charged cross snipe doing 400% dmg multiplier and it get nerfed to 180% on global. you can't do math with wrong numbers.
Thanks for the math and letting everyone know she is fine with A0. The prob with ToF is that almost all of SSR characters are Advancement dependent to make them be relevant but Anna is a good add for saving up the red nuclei
They’ve reduced that by a lot though. Frigg, Ruby, Lin, Tian Lang, Lyra, and now Annabella are all very good and balanced at A0. Saki and Alyss “needs” A1, but Saki and Alyss really outshine others which somewhat justifies the cost of them being a very expensive duo. Their advancements will be used for a very long time and is a lot harder to powercreep.

As someone with maxed out flame comp+matrices, annabella gas comp is bad against group mobs, amazing against single target (bosses). Worth mentioning that when you break shield/get hitstun during an Anna dodge att, you don't throw out any grenades=no skill effect. Not sure if this is a bug or not. Burn comp is good but too expensive for f2p.
I agree that Annabella is so f2p friendly but flame still lacking some potential to compete the current meta. I think they nerf flame to much which makes flame behind from any other elements. Its been 3 flame characters that has been release but still flame doesn't turn the tide of the meta. I hope they buff flame team for a little bit more. Specially anabella's gas comp, cause i feel its lacking something.

As a frost main now ... am getting her at A0 purely for the kuro pantsu battle maid ... she'll be my simulacra wielding frost weapons for now since i don't have any other limited flame weapon. My king is only A3 and my equipment is subpar for flame atk. Maybe in future when Lan come out they'll synergize well
Thanks for the guide, I wanted to ask if two Annabella matrix can be used with two other matrix, I had to use 55 orbs for Annabella to come out and since her stars don't increase her damage much, I was thinking of getting one matrix out of the box from the store, so they don't miss out on the flame gold, also because on impulse I made a roll on their matrix banner and I got one of them.
If I have A6 lin, A6 Ruby and 4pc 0 star cobalt should I do burn annabella A1 and empty her dodge attacks? Or would ruby still be a better main dps and im better with 4pc shiro on anna.
Being a flame main with A6 cobalt, I'm not seeing the benefit to invest a few thousand in just slightly better.... THE only thing that draws me to Annabella is the self heals aspect, where the flame team also struggles horribly. I'm getting the impression I should abiandon being a fire main (for dps). Global seems to nerf the fire team comp like crazy.
@Troy Moore I don't have any faith in that analysis. Annabella was supposed to be fairly broken too. They'll just nerf Lan into the ground too. The thing that really concerns me is that Alyss and Fenrir are just around the corner and that the current teams are enough to displace flame even with the new addition.

Nerfs overall won't be too bad as other content difficulty get nerfed in Global as well, like Void Abyss right now. If we got what CN had it would have been like trying to pass day 1 release of JO8.
Since advancement don’t provide a lot ( I am a low spender ) and I don’t have ruby, is it better to try to get a3 annabella and use all my Dark Crystal or pull for the 3 rd gun?? ( I have Lin ) And is it better to pull for ruby ( which I don’t know if I can get to A3 ) or wait for Lan?

Since you already have Cobalt at A6, I would just use her for now; no point in swapping to Anna just yet; though, this'll probably change when Lan arrives...

Definitely Anna! Ruby is really advancement-hungry for her damage, and doesn't work too well as a standalone unit even if she was to be A6 ~ Anna can work by herself pretty sufficiently!

My team power rank A5 Meryl 0 Frigg 3 Lin >> A0 Anna 3 Lin 6 King > A1 Saki 3 Tsubasa 3 Lin. The fact that my flame team has 700 less attack, and without limited matrices, can outdamage my A1 Saki frost team with 4pc Saki matrices says a lot how good low investment Anna is. And yeah Meryl is a forgotten beast. And Saki is a big cope (probably her value increases a lot with Alyss).

Pull anna A0, then wait ruby rerun and go A0 also - they both already good at A0 if you have extra resource after pulling ruby, might aim for Anna A3 for the heals/survivability (optional for comfy play)
Actually works pretty well! As someone who has like no fire characters myself, I pulled for Anna A0 and am having a blast playing Gas with Claudia / Anna / Zero. A6 Zero works surprisingly well for the last slot - the problem with his buff is that it matched the duration of the cooldown, meaning it would drop off on teammates unless you autoattacked on Zero to make orbs for them. But with Gas, you reduce the cooldown of the skill and can keep up buffs on everyone with ease now! It's a fun hybrid support / damage dealer build :3
If I only have A0 Ruby, Running A Gas comp such as Lin(A3), Anna(A0), and Tsubasa(A6) will be much better?? *limited matrices are not accessible to me as I’m only a light spender
is the damage increase from her base weapon damage at A0 worth it replacing a different A6 weapon? for example A6 Tsubasa/Samir/Shiro base weapon atk at max level 160 (around 1.2k) vs A0 Annabella at max level 160 (around 600-800, not sure, no anna yet)
The stat loss is very minimal compared to all the other factors that go into putting Annabella into your team; How is your Flame gear compared to your other main set gear? Do you have any weapons that synergize with her? Etc So let's consider, maybe you have an F2P Volt team with 6* Samir / Crow + 0-1* Nemesis. Then you want to consider the total potential of an F2P Flame team that has 6* Tsubasa + 0* Annabella and then... perhaps 6* Shiro/Zero/King or something. In that case, the base attack across the weapons is pretty close; and even if it wasn't, the stats you're losing are like ~3% total, so it really just depends on what you want to play...!
@@Maygi yeah I have Lin/Ruby/KING but my lin is 3s, my ruby 2s (planning to pull on rerun), and king is maxed not sure how I'd do and who I'd remove, but yea I understand triggering burn from king is really hard and at some point I won't probably be able to trigger it, but I'm kinda liking the raw stats I'm getting since I can't use samir or shiro (non maxed) only other 6s weapon I have is Zero and honestly... my dmg doesn't do well if I used him, I've been using him since Day 1 after all, just maintaining upkeep for his buff just isn't worth it

As of right now, Ruby is stronger at 3*; it's hard to tell how things will change when Lan comes as I don't look at CN content very deeply at all. Anna matrices are easier to stack, but their stars are very mediocre and the dodge refund will be completely irrelevant after Lan, though.

Currently using 2pc Crow+2pc Shiro on Anna, suppose I can get 2pc Anna, which one should I replace, 2pc Crow or 2pc Shiro? and is 2pc Samir more good than 2pc Anna?
If they're all maxed, yes! But, at 0*, Anna's matrix is better in the offhand than Ruby (and way easier to use), so it's not a bad pickup on a lower budget!
@@Maygi thanks for the reply! so i currently have 1* lin and got 1* anna (was to excited to pull before work before your video came out :D). so youd recommend getting cobalt too if im willing to pay for it? im also already saving chips for when she hits standardbanner. also did you ever do a video about what relics are best to pick with certain comps for content like bygone or void abyss? for example i think the shield couant combo probably has the highest potential but i allways tend to move away from it to mcuh to really effectively use it without spreading out the mobs as well.
Shiro is a special case that I don't add in my calculator because of how it works; in any fight that can be completely covered by the duration of Shiro's matrix, it can be competitive with 4p limited matrix sets. After that, it's completely useless. It's great for opening burst and short fights, though!
@@Maygi I'm contemplating on getting ruby 4pc... But i don't know how much it'll really help. in FCH shiro 4pc resets a lot (after each boss basically, and when playing with others they don't take that long), in normal vr the bosses die very quick, in jo8 there are several instances it resets too (chest 1, chest 2, chest 3 all 3x chances to unleash its power) I don't see many use cases for a 4pc background effect that needs a LOT OF uptime when playing in a team that does decent dmg (i guess void abyss would work but with so many passive buffs.. might not matter much) Even against harrah and culton it's good because i suffer from massive skill issue and die often there = reset lol Besides, by the time ruby 4pc reaches 35 active seconds (at least the final dmg buff) already 60 seconds passed 15 seconds active > 15 second cooldown > 15 second active > 15 second cooldown > 5 more seconds Not sure if it's worth spending more unless ruby 4pc is clearly way better in any case... Don't know what to do eeee

I think at if you do run those two, well first off obviously use the gas rounds only cause anna would be main dps, but more-so cobalt would apply the burns that is lacking from the flame rounds you're not using. That being said it would be HEAVILY worse than using ruby over cobalt given ruby's skill and heat builds up damage for Anna rather than relying on a little extra burn damage.

Nice congrats, I hope u can share the luck on crit rolls, been farming for too long and my highest one is only 3.5k crit rolls. I don't know if there's a way to increase the chances for getting all of them crit.
When Physical weapons reach full weapon charge, they apply a debuff on the enemy for 7 seconds that increases everyone's damage dealt to it by 20%. It's a powerful debuff, and in a solo setting, inflates Physical numbers to make it look stronger than it is, relatively to other elements, due to how everyone should benefit from the debuff!
Yes! But it's kind of hard to fit Cobalt in a burn-focused team, as you still need Ruby to have detonations, and then Lin is such a powerhouse that it's hard to replace her...
Hey Maygi: I was looking through the spreadsheet for current maxed out meta teams: I saw that the optimal DPS build (Burn) for Annabella currently is: ( Lin Matrix on Anna, Cobalt Matrix on Ruby, Ruby on Lin). Would the rotation still be Lin skill into Annabella sklill with 2 dodges into DPS Ruby? Or would it change around into Lin skills- (build Stacks ) into Ruby skill ( Build Stacks ) into Annabella with dodge dps and reset?
Yes, you would have to build stacks on Lin in that case (or in cases where Lin holds her own matrix). It takes a few seconds but is worth it in the end! (...it's also a nightmare to remember at first, too...)

How good is cobalt matrices for burn?
That's insane Annabella is crazy f2p, you get her A0 and she's a powerhouse and just wait for Lan, the problem is no sustain, locked at A3.

Does anna 4p matrix effects work completely offhand so they buff my lin and ruby too? The final dmg and the crit dmg on crit?
Only the crit dmg bonus buff applies to other weapons; the final damage is only for on-field (for the 4pc; the 2pc does apply to others)
Does Annabella 2pc effect proc too when equipping it on a weap that isn't flame e.g Claudia?

A6 Zero works surprisingly well for the last slot - the problem with his buff is that it matched the duration of the cooldown, meaning it would drop off on teammates unless you autoattacked on Zero to make orbs for them. But with Gas, you reduce the cooldown of the skill and can keep up buffs on everyone with ease now! It's a fun hybrid support / damage dealer build :3
could you please in future give us teamcomp without lin?
You can just put any fire character in that slot for resonance.
If I only have A0 Ruby, Running A Gas comp such as Lin(A3), Anna(A0), and Tsubasa(A6) will be much better??

is the damage increase from her base weapon damage at A0 worth it replacing a different A6 weapon? for example
A6 Tsubasa/Samir/Shiro base weapon atk at max level 160 (around 1.2k)
vs
A0 Annabella at max level 160 (around 600-800, not sure, no anna yet)
The stat loss is very minimal compared to all the other factors that go into putting Annabella into your team;
How is your Flame gear compared to your other main set gear? Do you have any weapons that synergize with her? Etc
So let's consider, maybe you have an F2P Volt team with 6* Samir / Crow + 0-1* Nemesis. Then you want to consider the total potential of an F2P Flame team that has 6* Tsubasa + 0* Annabella and then... perhaps 6* Shiro/Zero/King or something. In that case, the base attack across the weapons is pretty close; and even if it wasn't, the stats you're losing are like ~3% total, so it really just depends on what you want to play...!
@@Maygi yeah I have Lin/Ruby/KING but my lin is 3s, my ruby 2s (planning to pull on rerun), and king is maxed
not sure how I'd do and who I'd remove, but yea I understand triggering burn from king is really hard and at some point I won't probably be able to trigger it, but I'm kinda liking the raw stats I'm getting since I can't use samir or shiro (non maxed)
only other 6s weapon I have is Zero and honestly... my dmg doesn't do well if I used him, I've been using him since Day 1 after all, just maintaining upkeep for his buff just isn't worth it

As of right now, Ruby is stronger at 3*; it's hard to tell how things will change when Lan comes as I don't look at CN content very deeply at all. Anna matrices are easier to stack, but their stars are very mediocre and the dodge refund will be completely irrelevant after Lan, though.
Thanks for your input. I have the same thought that Anna's matrices will become less useful when lan is out. Guess I'll for for Ruby matrices when it's out for rerun

Currently using 2pc Crow+2pc Shiro on Anna, suppose I can get 2pc Anna, which one should I replace, 2pc Crow or 2pc Shiro? and is 2pc Samir more good than 2pc Anna?
Definitely don't replace either - put Anna 2pc on your other flame weapon!

the only sad thing about anna is that she is so weak compared to other main dmgs, and flame in general still deals the smallest amount of dmg

If they're all maxed, yes! But, at 0*, Anna's matrix is better in the offhand than Ruby (and way easier to use), so it's not a bad pickup on a lower budget!

also did you ever do a video about what relics are best to pick with certain comps for content like bygone or void abyss? for example i think the shield couant combo probably has the highest potential but i allways tend to move away from it to mcuh to really effectively use it without spreading out the mobs as well.
How does Shiro 4pc at 3* do vs other background matrices?
Shiro is a special case that I don't add in my calculator because of how it works; in any fight that can be completely covered by the duration of Shiro's matrix, it can be competitive with 4p limited matrix sets. After that, it's completely useless. It's great for opening burst and short fights, though!
@@Maygi I'm contemplating on getting ruby 4pc... But i don't know how much it'll really help. in FCH shiro 4pc resets a lot (after each boss basically, and when playing with others they don't take that long), in normal vr the bosses die very quick, in jo8 there are several instances it resets too (chest 1, chest 2, chest 3 all 3x chances to unleash its power)
I don't see many use cases for a 4pc background effect that needs a LOT OF uptime when playing in a team that does decent dmg (i guess void abyss would work but with so many passive buffs.. might not matter much)
Even against harrah and culton it's good because i suffer from massive skill issue and die often there = reset lol
Besides, by the time ruby 4pc reaches 35 active seconds (at least the final dmg buff) already 60 seconds passed
15 seconds active > 15 second cooldown > 15 second active > 15 second cooldown > 5 more seconds
Not sure if it's worth spending more unless ruby 4pc is clearly way better in any case...

The former! Burn has more potential than Gas, especially if you have a decked out Ruby ~

Thoughts on Cobalt (A3) + Annabella? I love my Cobalt and want to use her, running Lyra with them but we ignore that lol
I think at if you do run those two, well first off obviously use the gas rounds only cause anna would be main dps, but more-so cobalt would apply the burns that is lacking from the flame rounds you're not using. That being said it would be HEAVILY worse than using ruby over cobalt given ruby's skill and heat builds up damage for Anna rather than relying on a little extra burn damage.

What is Grievous
When Physical weapons reach full weapon charge, they apply a debuff on the enemy for 7 seconds that increases everyone's damage dealt to it by 20%. It's a powerful debuff, and in a solo setting, inflates Physical numbers to make it look stronger than it is, relatively to other elements, due to how everyone should benefit from the debuff!

Yes! But it's kind of hard to fit Cobalt in a burn-focused team, as you still need Ruby to have detonations, and then Lin is such a powerhouse that it's hard to replace her...

Hey Maygi: I was looking through the spreadsheet for current maxed out meta teams:
I saw that the optimal DPS build (Burn) for Annabella currently is: ( Lin Matrix on Anna, Cobalt Matrix on Ruby, Ruby on Lin). Would the rotation still be Lin skill into Annabella sklill with 2 dodges into DPS Ruby? Or would it change around into Lin skills- (build Stacks ) into Ruby skill ( Build Stacks ) into Annabella with dodge dps and reset?
Yes, you would have to build stacks on Lin in that case (or in cases where Lin holds her own matrix). It takes a few seconds but is worth it in the end! (...it's also a nightmare to remember at first, too...)
