There's no way it would be a charmander without a lit tail. If it were, it wouldn't be alive. It could possibly be related to Kangaskhan, but I doubt that the mother refers to that pokemon. The skull is just Marowaks. Please for the love of god, read into dex entries. It *can't* be an orphaned charmander at all.
There a theory that cubone is actually a baby Charmander, when Charmander first hatched there mother would die and won’t be able to light their tails, Charmander would wear the charzard’s skull. 1:the skull looks a lot like charzards head, 2: Charmander and cubone look very similar, & 3:If you go into Pokémon infinite fusions and fuse them together you’ll see the similarities.
