Eva is my new hero. As the parent of a Charter school student, I can clearly see the power of this innovation, and the unending efforts of unions to stifle what works. Her book is one of the most compelling reads I have ever picked up.
I am a teacher myself and I would just love to work with someone who can speak so well. She can defend anything and has great responses. I look highly to that.
Good teachers happily take every (or many at least) opportunity to help kids grow. Teacher's unions don't give a fuck about anyone or anything other's than getting massive paychecks for 0 work.
