Thats what I love about being Scottish. When someone needs, the community pulls together. I've lived all over the world and I came to the island where I live now to see my young brother for a week. Been here 22 years. Love it
In case you were wondering the "Greyfriars Bobby reference , was a Skye Terrier who became known in 19th-century Edinburgh for spending 14 years guarding the grave of his owner until he died himself on 14 January 1872.", as always a great reaction, nearly lost your street cred.
25:50. This is the ONLY part of this magnificent show i skip every single time I watch it. I lost my dad a year ago. I moved to the US 8 years ago and last time I saw my dad was when i was over in 2018. He died in 2019. I got a call saying he was gravely ill just as I was about to have a procedure done. About a week before I was due to go under I had planned to go to Scotland right after my procedure regardless of how much pain I was in. (A lot..) Few days before my procedure i was working at Home depot and got a call from management asking me to come to the back. I never suspected anything. I got back and saw my wife standing, i said "oh hello!!" and saw her face. Then it hit me. Tears start to well and i said "He's gone isn't he?" So we went home, I placed myself on FMLA, had my procedure and flew the very next day. When we got to Dundee my mum said "Jimmy this will kill you but dad said he's sorry he never got to say goodbye" That's why i can't watch that bit.
I live just up the road from where that baby store used to be, it was in a place called Anniesland in Glasgow :). This was a fab episode, couldn't help but laugh when both jack and victor had the tea cosies on their head to drown out the noise of the baby. I always remember watching this for the first time and being shocked that they landed Jack in hospital.
Here's a thing I recently noticed. Shameless (UK) was recently added to Netflix UK and here in Ireland. Series 1, their having a bit of trouble with the council and who should appear in two episodes, but ...Clive Russell himself, aka Big Innes! Edit: The Director in the post-cred scene is Michael Hines director of Still Game. Also, his assistant looks like a cousin of mine. :D
Can't believe we are almost done with the original Still Game. The S6 Hogmanay special is a great episode to end with. One of my fave Still Game eps. What a journey this had been Kid, I hope you are able to continue with S7 and beyond
Congrats on 3k subs. I'll bet this show and your genuine love of the characters helped you get there. Keep it up! Looking forward already to still game sunday. Keep your kleenex handy just in case 😭. As I've mentioned before i'd watch you react to these all over again. P&L boi.
I wish Navid was in this episode. It would’ve been funny if Tam had tried to get Navid to give him free stuff from the shop, and Navid could’ve been like “Get it up ye, Tam!” 🤣
You now have the 2 specials and hopefully you will react to the Live show before series 7, what you need to know is after the specials, the programme wasn't made for 7 years before they rejoined to make the live show, which sold out 21 nights at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, i think U2 even had to delay their Glasgow date to the following year due to the success of the show
@@bxkid7 yeah sure of course..... lol Its fine to get emo during this episode thats the point haha Really hope you find the next couple seasons and they aren't copyrighted im loving this seasons so much

If you can watch still game live at the hydro this was the comeback after they had a falling out for a number of years but carried on from when they last left of from TV series till the newest series.
It hard to choose a favorite series I think choosing a best takes away from each series as I feel each episode brings something to the table. There is something to be said about the majority of the episode and to nail a favorite is tough they all up until this point have been fantastic wont be able to choose lol.
If you like the community feel of Still Game I would definitely recommend Only Fools and Horses. English not Scottish comedy though. Also, check out One Foot in the Grave. It's was one of the first dark comedies out of the UK. This one features older actors as well. Anyway, really enjoying your videos mate.
@Midnight Toker On the DVD series 1-5 box set there is an extras section which shows the cast getting makeup and behind the scenes as they are shooting. It is also on You tube under 'Still game: Behind the scenes'. Michael Hines, the producer, introduces himself.
