Backstory:
It took 15-20 missed Green Line trains over 5 days to get this footage because several things needed to align:
1. driver doesn't lower the curtain
2. cloudy day (related to 1)
3. no loud people around me
4. I don't mess up recording
Even in this footage (shoutout to the driver who was coorporative with me recording the video) I accidentally stopped recording around Government Plaza, so the video had to start from U.S. Bank Stadium, and there was an interruption at 18:03. I was starting to get frustrated by so many failed attetmpts so I went with this one. Игры

That's interesting.
I ❤ trains, trams, take a ride, I have a folder on ''transportation''
(folder 2, in playlists) you will love them too :)
I love the light rails up there in Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN area.
Took this line and the blue line a few times, and I must say, it’s very nice, but the people on it are very questionable
Excellent work

look at the description
Nice, thanks man.
This is the green line train to St. Paul
Man, Im 2 months out of training! this is not a real look into the green line... first time i was in the cab with my trainer who loves to keep track speed up and i seriously was 2nd guessing my career move... this driver cant be doing more then half track speed.. the green line is a beast for new operators. i do have to say this is a very fun job!
You should live-stream this
nice
How did you arrange to do this?
the window is a one way mirror so i can see through it if i put a camera directly against the window
At least he didn’t interfering the driver

I'm really glad that Minneapolis has invested in light rail but personally I find that many of the riders are loud and unruly (especially on the green line) which discourages me from using it and I'm sure a lot of other riders feel the same way. I've used public transit in Japan, England, and Germany and in all those countries people are quiet and respectful while riding.
game name?
Real life simulator
See? The train has signal preemption so it never stops at intersections. It's not that hard Los Angeles
this footage was actually relatively lucky with signals
the train often gets stopped at red light, especially ones at 14:08 and 19:19
That first one looked broken. The operator started moving before the signal changed, and the light for the cars was green
St. Paul only allows the train to have preemption for some intersections. Their major intersections, Dale, Lexington, Snelling... the train has to wait its turn just like everyone else.
Can the drivers hear what the passengers are saying? If yes, why don’t they call the cops when they are punching or kicking things?
Why would passengers kick and punch things?
@@nothinglyhomeless/ drugged people sometimes. Come aboard
Actually operators call the cops and force the train into a delay at one station so cops could snatch criminals
only the ones right behind the cab door and only the super loud ones. If what they are doing isn't distracting the driver then there's no need for them to get involved as their job is to keep the train rolling.
