I definitely enjoy this front view video, I know some light rail train drivers don't like the camera being up there like that but if you ride my light rail train, I would have no problem with it. I also drive the Blue Line to Mall Of America. Keep up the great work because I love to see more videos of Metro Transit MN from transit enthusiasts.
Cool! Do you know if they're hiring light rail workers right now?
@@Tickle..Tipson I'm not sure but please feel free to fill out an application and see what happened, I thought I wasn't gonna get this job but they call me and I got it. I hope you get the job with Metro Transit MN.
@zackmorris4551 do you drive both generations of vehicles or just one?

Excellent video with awesome views. Tyvm I wanted to see these trains hope theres the other one too. 🥰😍
I love riding the Minneapolis light rail. I can't wait until the Southwest LRT extension is complete, that'll be fun to ride.
COOL! Thanks for the ride up front. That's a quiet train. How fast do they run?
Sounds like he experienced some wheelslip at 6:57!
Common for LRVs in wet rail.
I like the noise wow he went so fast. that’s cool.😮👌😃😃😃

I ROAD THIS TRAIN ALOT OVER THE YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS KICKED IN MY LOWER BACK AND ARTHRITIS PAIN IN BOTH KNEES. SO I KNOW MY BUS DRIVERS AND TRAIN 🚉 DRIVERS MISS ME ALOT. WAS TOLD IM THERE FAVORITE BUS 🚍 RIDER AND THE TRAIN 🚉 AS WELL.
This is the blue line train to Mall Of America
You should do northbound
This would be fun to play in the video game Train Sim World.
5mph final approach is too slow
yeah they made a poor design decision there. The original plans were to have it go straight down 82nd St where it would enter the Mall area straight on. I'm guessing the final decision on the transit hub layout made them change that.
32:27 diverging diamond interchange with light rail down the middle, seems like a headache if light rail gets better frequency
yes light rail has priority through there. Cars do get backed up there often.
Anyone know what that sound is 16:55(Btw not talking about the Crossing sound, It lowkey sounds like a Air conditioner being turned on
Criminals, gangbangers, addicts and homeless welcomed to ride. Watch where you step. The Honor system is flexible. Remember in Minnesota you have a DUTY TO RETREAT IF YOU'RE A VICTIM. YES, IM BEING SARCASTIC!!
(sigh) I mean as of now, Metro Transit is trying with new programs and security to make LRT services safety, but you're not wrong....
