Simon, What looked like abort in spi_flash was caused by using the standard library mutex. I replaced it with the FreeRTOS Semaphore functions and it works. On to the next video. Thanks.
@@DrGreenGiant my main problem being a total noob was trying to use Platformio with C++11. I’ve had no problems after starting over and using ESP-IDF. I hate the China ESP32 issue and to hear your company has shutdown. It’s been my experience that good people wound up getting better jobs. Looking forward to seeing where you take us.
