Thanks for posting the video, this was entertaining. Kermit was awesome, and great to see them all at the end waving to the crowd, just a bunch of normal, salt-of-the-earth, British people having fun.
The EU has much stricter road safety laws driving outdated cars becomes much more expensive to own. Here in the states they don't even expect brakes for the most part.
That’s a little 4 Cylinder for ya, basically unbeatable engines, that’s why they’re used in Older Toyota’s, you can basically beat the crap out of them and they will keep running, plus they’re 4 Cylinders, and they’re Manually driven! My Grandpas Old Nissan Frontier XE is a little 2 door 4 cylinder manual work truck, and he’s beat it up here and their he’s rolled it once, bought a new windshield and roof for it, and it’s still here today I think it’s a 2000 Nissan Frontier XE, and we call it either green machine because it never dies, but I call it old Reliable!? That was when I believe Toyota was working with Nissan and that’s when they called them Datsun’s back then, his is similar built to a Toyota, I even believe it has a 4 Cylinder Toyota engine in it, it’s a great little farm truck, and it’s tough for being a Manual and for being that old! He has a new 2018 Nissan Frontier 4x4 silver, and it’s a little bit bigger truck, its a big V6 and 4 door automatic, with a backup camera and other stuff, he just had a LEER Canopy put on the back, and it looks so much more nicer, it has a lot of Torque for that truck I believe it’s a Nissan Frontier 4x4 SV, big V6 and he says it makes 600 HP I believe so that’s a lot of power and Torque for that truck, it’s his baby he keeps it stored in the Garage so it stays nice, a lot of the times he barely drives it but it’s a nice truck, way more nicer than his little 4 Cylinder, he drives his little 4 Cylinder more than his newer truck, he bought the SV brand new!?

Sad to see the cars get destroyed, but it's a good way to 'say goodbye' in some sense, rather than being left to rot or stationary on a driveway.
You’ve got to see the last race of the night with Reliant Robins (3 Wheeled cars). They crash them head on. If they cowp them they use a broom handle from the cockpit to self right them. Amazing how much punishment the fibre glass bodies endure.
MVP here is the A pillars on the cars jumping with the windscreen in place. I was expecting the landings to flex and crack the windscreens, but they made it.

Surprised to see air bags going off… usually such events mandate that the air bags are disabled and or removed. Helmets add weight to your head and the violent air bag deployment can cause neck injuries, especially when paired with a full face helmet.

I used to go to Angmering every weekend it was on as a kid. Unforgettable memories. The smell of exhaust fumes and fresh cooked doughnuts!
