This is insane. God bless the man who tried so hard to save him 🙏🏻
He was saved so he didn't try to. "The man who saved him" period
@@decco9049 To be fair, perhaps OP was highlighting the fact that it was hard work to dig him out. So the word tried was there to make the phrase "so hard" work. 😉
Neither "the man who dug him out so hard", nor "the man who saved him so hard" would work. 😁✌
Edit:
Rereading what I wrote, I came to the best phrase that might satisfy you: 'the man who dug so hard to save him' or 'worked so hard to save him'.
There. 🙂
But I see no need to criticize her use of tried. 😉
This skier did an amazing job. He was equipped, educated and trained. Fantastic stuff
Great rescue! He is so lucky to be alive. Huge thanks to the man who was able to save him! Never ever ski/ride alone and don't let your partners/group out of sight! So many people die like this every year.
God bless this man for saving the snow boarder! Without him the boarder didn't stand a chance!
As a powderhound skier, thank you for your kindness from deep in my heart. God bless you!
There´s no kindness in saving a fellow only duty
A true example of what humanity is capable of.
Thats a miracle that he happened to ski right next to him in that lonely back country!
Humanity in action. Right person. Right place. Right time. Right equipment. ☯️☮️💞
I was on the edge of my couch watching this!!! What an amazing rescue!!! Wow!
This actually just made me cry. Beautiful. It's moments like these that remind you that there are still good people out there, even when the world seems so grim...
Me to, tears of pure love and joy
Imagine being buried in a substance that if you 'move' compacts around you and seals you in. I would have been swearing as well while trying to get him out. It sends shivers down my spine. There are just no words to say how unimaginable it is to come across two feet that are strapped in, 'wriggling', and the person is fighting for life just trying to breathe. I would have cried and hugged the man after getting him out. Every day a new hero emerges.
Just a snowboarder, a lot more where that came from. 😅
Theyre best freinds now! Its dope!
@@Mrbfgray just because it doesn’t affect your life personally doesn’t mean you can’t be grateful there are still a few good people in this world worthy of heaven
@@brandonweeks Are you that mired in mindless orthodoxy and dumb? Nah...must be kidding just like I was.
@@brandonweeks According to the Bible there's no reason Adolf Hitler isn't in heaven. Only *two* things disallow a soul, genocide isn't one of them. Failing to accept Jesus as your savior or blasphemy.
This dude shoveled through almost 4 feet of snow pulled a person out and did it all by himself. He's a damn hero and should be treated like one wherever he goes.
He saved his life he owes him forever
Spotted something out of place and didn't casually pass up, laser focused to reach the head/mouth first to ensure airway is clear, kept the distressed person in the loop about his actions while also offering words of encouragement, organized with a shovel......all done right, this was a near miracle
Wow, man, you kept your cool in spite of the adrenaline load. Well done! A fantastic bit of luck that you got stuck but you were prepared for the worst & it saved his life. We all have this in us, remember that…. But we don’t all think we need to be prepared.
talk about being unlucky and lucky at the same time! This is an incredible story , so glad he got there in time.
I'm totally in 😭. My God!!! What a BLESSING TO HAVE HIM. GOD BLESS YOU SIR
God put him in the right place at the right time!
Total hero. Way to stay calm and save a life. Tree wells are a very serious danger and nightmare situation.
Thank you for saving that snowboarder
PRAISE THE LORD he was with a REAL friend OMG!!!!
Yes! Jehovah God is good. 🙏🏼
This was a stranger
Nothing to do with god…but if there was, why did god do this to the poor man, who could have died?
Accidents happen. These were dangerous conditions, and it wasn’t wise to ski in this kind of weather. This is God’s wisdom. Not only is it God’s wisdom, but the fact this man was rescued is God’s grace.
Humans have free will. Love wouldn’t force anyone to choose Him, but Love is a choice, which is what makes it Beautiful. I pray that you will ask Jesus into your heart and receive Him to know God before it’s too late.
With how unsure things are in our economy, illnesses, crazy weather events, etc., we all have a ticker, abd God will not force Himself on anyone, but today He gives you a choice. I pray that you will choose Love for the most secure present possible, abd the most joyful eternal state in the future. ❤️
@@BenevolantBusinessBeauty Good answer
Yes, the dude is a hero but you cant deny the "woah" at 0:32 is so funny
Holy cow. What are the odds that skier would fall and pick that line to restart.
What a great save! Great job! ❤🎉
Remember. Air Air Air! No point digging out the feet. Make sure the person gets air first! The way he dug himself down to his face and made sure he had oxygen is what saved him! Even just a small passage to let air down is enough! Great job to the skier for this save!
What an inspirational story. It’s only by the grace of God he happened to sky RIGHT past his board. If he was 10 more feet to the left or right, that man might not be here. Insane.
I have watched this video several times and it gives e chills every time. How frightening.
Another 20 feet down and he wouldn't have been able to get back up to him in time, that deep soft snow is no joke...
My gosh you were blessed to have that man save u
Fantastic! The skier was well prepared for backcountry / sidecountry travel and was calm and collected. Well done. BTW, ABC news had this today morning and both, the skier and snowboarder were interviewed over zoom. Great to see this outcome!
Unbelievable rescue.
Unbelievable, that skier was really an angel sent by God.
Oh my gosh this is scary I hope the man's okay
Imagine if this guy didnt see him, so so lucky
🙏🏼WOW! Thank you sir for helping this man.
W❤W THANK GOD 🙏🏽
How long was he buried under there and How was he even able to breathe? This is insane! God bless both of them
I wonder that too. Seems to me the snow was at his mouth, and I figure you wouldn’t be able to hold your breath for much longer than a few minutes in that scenario. Doesn’t make sense to me
@Noahsorman Snow is porous, before it starts to melt and refreeze into ice. So it's a bit more forgiving than being buried alive in other materials.
People buried in snow can sometimes breathe for up to an hour or so but it varies a lot!
It is fresh snow hence more powdery, you can breath through.
Scary how easily this could've been over looked or not noticed at all.........unbelievable.
so scary. good job mr hero sir
That gasp for air shows how close he was to being in the next life
You are a bina fide hero brother. This world is a better pkace cause your in it....love, love. Love to you.
God had that man there at just the right time to help. Thank you God!
I wanna see them both on TV now! Wheres the update ? Thank you Dr Woo!
If you put the guy’s name into RUclips, you will see them both sitting talking to each other.
that is so crazy, he literally skied over his board, if he went a different route never even would have seen him!
Wow... Thank goodness to the man that saved him wow ❕ so so lucky
One of the most intense things I’ve ever watched. He was absolutely clutch. Wow!
Just another reminder of the dangers of tree wells. Glad you saw him. I’m sure he is too! Scary.
Smart he's got a shovel brilliant
This is fucking REAL LIFE HERO right here. Did you see that snowboarder's lips???? BLUE. This man LITERALLY saved this guy's life. Well done!
I’ve never been more stressed and this dude just like “yeah take your time man”
That is f******incredible 😮 God bless them Both 👋
Respect to that man
Always go with a friend in that type of terrain, that guy was lucky he was found.
I love heroes✌🙏👍🙂
This video inspired me to ride with a shower in my backpack now. You never know when you might need it to save someone.
You dont need a portable shower in the snow, a avalanche beacon, probe and shovel is more important
😂😂😂
@@powderskier5547 Haha. You really had to didn't you lmao ;)
My man was calm and remembered everything you learn in avalanche and rescue. Saved a life, enough said. Tree wells kill way more people then avalanches every year, always ski with a buddy in trees. Fist bump to both rescued and rescuer.
Things like this are what restore my faith in humanity 😅
Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good on him for being well prepared.
Well done !!!!!
great work
What a hero!
What a HERO!!!
This nan deserves a medal and a God bless!
Saved his life.
❤ I watched his video without the bleeps 😅and it was incredible 😮
A 15 year old boy died at my local mountain a few years back falling into a tree well. Not even in the back country it was slightly off of a groomed run. Tree wells are no joke, stay safe out there friends.
Holy Mother of God. Guardian angels wear skis.
omg i almosy passed out watching this. what a fucking hero
God bless them😭
F-ing intense.
Guy digging him out was remarkably composed and efficient. Only thing he could have improved on was taking the guys board off sooner.
It's impossible to move when it's still on your feet and you're upsidedown in a treewell.
I think he knew what he was doing! 😊
Wow, that boarder was insanely lucky. 10 min later he would be gone
Man you did amazing so grateful for you 🙏
Why all the beeps? The skier is certainly a hero. Amazing rescue.
He was cussing
Good save , God bless him , those trees will suck you in .
right place at the right time!
God was certainly with them. Praise Yeshua!
what's up with so many people thanking their religions? I love you, and faith is important, but this man was just in the right place and give him the credit, not some omniscient god.
OMG! 👏🏾
Holy crap that was scary!
Hero😮
God made the skier fall so he would see the board. Miracle.
1:32 play this till 1:42 with your eyes closed
absolutely insane! With that deep snow they've had, why are they skiing so close to trees anfd tree wells?
sO lUCKY MaN!!!!!!!..😎💯✌LeSSon LeARneD,....
😮OMG 😯Humanity still exists❤👍🙏
Was this guy an army medic or navy corpsman? If he wasn't he missed his calling. Great job!
9:40pm at night currently and I feel the need to pop another Lexapro 🥺This was INTENSE 😬but SO GLAD HE WAS RESCUED🙏🏽🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Very lucky
Glad that ended well 🤙🍻
Someone is getting a free case of beer a week - for life...
Wow😮
people saying the saw the whole video, where is the whole video, still looking for it.
I’m surprised he was even able to see him
Where to watch the full video?
So no link to the full video wow
That's God Intervening.
Holy cow
Wow scary AF😮
God certainly works in mysterious ways...
... also, as someone who's never seen snow in RL before, I think I'm good after just seeing this, haha.
Was this bill nershi saving the day? Lol my god I'm so glad you saved him
🙏🏼💟
