Pretty sure this is the show that I drove 7 hours and showed up late to find that tickets were sold out. The door guy let me buy a ticket anyway and I got there just in time for their set. That was a good time.
I wish floor received as much attention as torche They have a huge discography, I bought the super expensive box set with all the vinyl and CDs And I love that half of their music is super screamy and heavy. And other songs like SCHIMITAR AND Lolita maintain super heavy low end guitars but with a really unique vocal delivery. Like most sludge bands play heavy dark music. But a lot of floor songs are played in major keys with major vocals I got to see them live in Florida on the first reunion show. And copped a dope pink triangle shirt. Longtime fan
Floor had a good few songs but most of the songs were boring. They needed a real personality vocalist to add to the mundane down tempo monotony. Torche's first record was epic but then they got weak after that.
Wish I could be there. Nothing could go wrong in a bar called "Saint Vitus"... at least weed is fully legal in my country xD... Floor, if you have the money some day, please come to Holland!!!
Yes sir. It is Elextrical Guitar company. They make these amazing all aluminum guitars. Melvins. Steve Albini. Jesus lizard and numerous other noise rock bands use them. I always find it neat how Midwest emo and Midwest noise rock meet up with a lot of post hardcore bands.
