We rented a house on that beach, Pretty quiet with not a lot of people which was nice. Walked to that corner store, friendly and good amount of basics that you might need. I can't believe the Mermaid got knocked over that was a cool site to see when we were there. Thank you for sharing your adventure 🙂

I’ve stayed last 2 years extensively in the area from Domi to jaco and I’ve been told never leave your car unattended by local hosts. What would you consider standard protocol if you are to go there solo for say a surf in the afternoon. Obviously don’t leave valuables in the car. But how do you handle when you leave the car without a partner? And I know some beaches are more secure than others. Tks for any ideas you may have
@@marcelv3268 in the past I just make sure there are no valuables and hope for the best. If it’s in sight you could even leave it unlocked. That way if someone comes they can open it and see there is nothing in there. My car was broken into once on a remote beach and they broke my lock. But otherwise didn’t take anything out of the car because I didn’t have anything in there. So in that case it would have been better off just unlocked. I could even see my car too. But they must have done it very quickly.
