Merry Christmas and thanks for your reaction! Voice Play was busy last year as they did two shows with 'Chicago' in November and Eli's son was born end of November. Geoff and his family were just getting over COVID that they had in the fall and their regular camera person resigned so they did not have a camera person. They told the patrons that they could only do a mini and let the patrons choose what they wanted and the patrons requested this. Geoff also had to pull it together quickly and released his cover of "Blue Christmas" which is also fun and silly. Under the circumstances, the effort and attention to details, and seeing their family members involved, these two videos meant a lot to the patrons.

The best part about this is it was filmed by Tony, with a phone. It proves that they don't need to be super high tech to do a fantastic video. We all have Christmas songs we don't like. For some reason, "Little Saint Nick" grates on me. Maybe it just got overplayed somewhere I worked at, because it's not a bad or offensive song by any means. Now if you rewatch the scene from mean girls you’ll see it’s frame for frame the exact same! Can’t say Layne/Tony aren’t perfectionists. It was a choice between the costumes and sexy stripper elf costumes. Can’t say I would have been sad if they’d gone that direction either but that’s just the perv in me haha.
