I'm guessing that the ethernet connection could be plugged into a network port and be run through a switch or does it need to be directly connected to a PC/Mac?
This really does look like a game changer for medium volume cafes. I'd love a video of a bigger volume brew being made, or even just info on what the max water dispensing width looks like. I assume Tone kept the spray nozzle fairly narrow so a greater variety of smaller brewers could be used... so what basket/brewer would you use for a 1-2L brew? Excellent quality video, I am excited to see more of this content!
We use a Bonavita 1.3 L set up for a larger volume set up. The brew basket works well with the spray head. Happy to answer any more questions you may have! Thanks for watching, Jon.
Hey there, we're pickup up our first Tone 03 from you for a new shop but haven't dialed it in yet. Any recommendations using different brew vessels, such as v60, Kalita Wave, etc? Any preference?
Hey, thank you! From my understanding, sharing recipes is easier with the TONE. The design of the TONE is more minimal and low profile. Feel free to reach out to us at support@ghgbs.com for more info!
What, this is a wired connection? No bluetooth? Come on! It's a good overview otherwise but very few people would have multiple copies of this unit so stating that as a benefit to ownersihp is hardly worth noting.
Hey, thanks for checking the vid out! And thanks for the feedback. The app and the connectivity work very well out of the box, but we agree there's room for these things to be even better - and TONE is working on that. One thing to keep in mind, the programming part is unique and powerful BUT once your brewer is programmed how you want it, it's not something you have to do or think about for awhile. As far as multiple units - put yourself in the shoes of a coffee roaster. If you've programmed the perfect recipe for a certain coffee, and you get your wholesale network to adopt the machine, it's as simple as emailing a recipe file to your cafes so they can replicate the ideal brew. So now customers are experiencing the full potential of your coffee with variables minimized. If you're ever in NYC, make a visit to SEY in Bushwick. They have two Touch 03's side by side behind the counter. And another back in their lab so they can dial in recipes!
Josh....one of best demos of any coffee related videos I have seen; laid back manner, factual, easy to watch.
This video was really well put together. Thanks guys!
Thanks for watching! And thanks for the kind words!

Great overview! Very interesting product. Any thoughts how this would compare to the 3temp hipster single group? Cheers.
