Compared to the previous BOOM BOOM of the Age of Nero album I'm abit surprised of the mastering level of this new release (0db--0,5db?). The song breaths and let all instruments recognizable, is the loudness war over ? ;-).

so many of the comments about the progession of Black Metal is just heart breaking. i miss the beginning stages of Black Metal with Euronymous being alive. he was the trure representative of what Black Metal is/was. i still love your work tho.
Yawn, who is this music for? Satyricon play all their old songs live. They know what their audience wants to hear. And it isn't this slow, clean-cut sound.

Satyricon really did a breakthrough with this album. It's really good if you like REAL music.
all of their music is REAL music, same for ALL early Black Metal.
