Nice little hunt Austin. You found some jewelry and a little coinage. Your plants are looking very nice! ! Especially that pineapple plant. Take care and keep swinging. 💖💯
Nice Austen..🤠.. 👌👌👌.. Still say Vanquish 540 is the bees Knees... lol.. just a shame it not water proof! 🤠.. little rock could be a piece of meteorite?.. piece of coal???
My Legend Locked Up after the 1.05 update ! Yes I had to hold down the power button for a long time to get it to reboot. Still this should NOT happen ! Needs some fine tunning from Nokta ! I've emailed Nokta AND Dilek the video. No reply yet !
Happened to me too I bought what was supposed to be the new legend with carbon fiber and lg30 But I got sent an old model with 1.05 and the lg28 I didnt notice this at first, though, actually I didnt notice till 3months later But when I was running 1.05 I took it to the beach, it was super hot, I couldnt even detect for 10 minutes straight before I needed to stop and chill with water Anyways in that heat my legend locked up, no buttons worked, it wouldnt even turn off, but I kept ttying to press buttons for 5 minutes straight, it eventually turned off, when I turned it back on it worked I updated to 1.11 and its been good since
The thing is Austin that you don’t need Multi Frequency at a park it’s the Salt water that it helps at. So they basically just made a machine that’s not as good as ML in salt so literally no reason to buy it if you detect in salt
I disagree with this. The frequency of a machine is very important for finding different types of targets. A single frequency machine like the Simplex is always a tradeoff. For example, the Simplex runs at 12khz. However, silver coins and higher conductive targets are more responsive to lower frequencies like 4khz. Small gold items tend to be more responsive to much higher frequencies (20khz, etc.). So any single frequency machine is really a compromise because it has to pick a single frequency that gives you a "middle of the road" response to most targets. Having a true multi frequency machine means that you can get good responses to all types of targets at the same time without compromising on depth. Finally, having multiple frequency responses also helps with target separation and ID because the system can look at each frequency response and take into consideration how each type of metal responds to the given frequency. And if you don't believe me, then consider this.... If Multi Frequency was truly no better in a park than Single Frequency, then wouldn't the Minelab Equinox 800 not be any better in parks than any other detector? Surely part of the reason the ML 800 is better in parks is because of the Multi Frequency capabilities right?
@@mtslyh your right I do disagree 1000 hours over two years personal experience with a Simplex and my Equinox 600 and I can tell you tell you that the only advantage I have noticed is in the salt water first hand for a fact it’s better in the dirt zero difference , the Minelab goes deeper in the soil because of the better coil and not because of MF in the salt water that’s the opposite it finds targets that a single won’t, this summer I had my Simplex in water zero tone zero VDI on a ring that Gigmaster was hitting solid 20 on in a spot I had just searched before him , he had me swing my machine over it I got nothing . I have went over the same land I searched over and over with Simplex with my 600 Nox guess what I didn’t find any more of ? I did. Have a ton of iron false read that I dug that the single frequency clearly told me was iron so yes MF in soil is just not better from my experience
That's cool I was just telling the kids how you can grow a pineapple from the top of a pine apple. They don't believe me. So I have a top sitting in water. Hoping it'll sprout roots then I'll put it in a pot. It can live outside in summer. Northern Wisconsin we can't even grow corn here
Sweet hunt. I'm loving the Legend myself. Of course I don't have any salt water near me. I will be taking it to Florida in June so I will be paying attention so I don't have issues when I go
Yep it's a garrett! It seems to work great with the Legend, it sometimes gives me issues in combination with my Simplex though... Legend pretty solid little machine. 👍
Do you think the legend would do good in basalt mine rock looking for copper? you probably dont have any by you to test, I really need to order a detector soon lol

nice hunt i just got my first ring with the legend

Your plants are lookin good bro. Idk how you remember the #s for the equinox, the orx, the simplex and the legend 😂
Awesome Hunt.. and nice little pineapple growing.. Keep on digging..
The lock washer rang in so good because of shape and it's zinc plated. Cool pineapple

I'm really looking forward to some more coil options for it, definitely a fun detector to swing 👍
Hello Austin
Just received a reply from Dilek.
Is that a Garrett pinpointer?
If so, does it really work ok with the legend? I read it may interfere and cause chatter.
Been wanting the legend!

My bounty hunter also tells the date on the coin.
Bonitas plantas 👍
