I remember watching this clip on DVD years back - wow. I loved Basil Brush, and 'Miss Killer' was fantastic here, absolutely beautiful and witty. This clip made me smile then, but as I revisit now, everybody mourns for dear Cilla. Rest in peace, Cilla Black.
I'm an Australian and remember Basil very well. He was definitely shown on Australian tv-at least in Brisbane. I had a Basil toy as a kid and loved him SO much.
Basil was a favourite of mine back in the 70's. The ABC used to have him on Sunday at 5pm after Doctor Who. But I had to wait until Basil came on, because I was banned from watching Doctor Who!
