Yangyang's S5 doesnt work that way. It's simply a 85% resonance liberation damage bonus. ALL damage bonuses are additive with each other this means that if you do for example a resonance skill it would be elemental dmg bonus + skill dmg bonus. Its not a separate multiplicative value. The only characters who have anything like that is S3 Yinlin and S6 Jiyan. They have different wording on those which specifically mention the dmg modifier values. There are documents online going over the dmg formula for this game you might want to check.
Deepen/Amplify is however a separate multiplier tho
Yeah, others calculations put a r6 yangyang at the 30-40% more dps than r0. That's too little if her copies doubled her skill and liberation. That's still not bad. I will say though, even with her improved pull range on skill it is still a rather small vortex.
As someone who heavily invested into Taoqi, Yangyang and Sanhua from day 1: hard agree on this list.
I really love how the 4* are not just throwaway characters but actually get significantly powerful with sequences. Makes it much more fun to see them "grow" over time. :)

I built her out to lvl 70 after doing my main teams, her+sanhua+verina is a disgusting amount of outro damage. It's just constant numbers, im at s4.
also, there's a big theory that Yangyang is the goddess we see in the intro, from the future
they have the same face/ mole, and her resonance mark is covered up in goddess form

Basically, she buffs the whole team, it is not sure whether it is a bug or not but it is something that is yet to be fix for the longest time so who knows.

THANK YOU I have been preaching about Yangyang. The only one I don't agree on is Taoqi not because what you said isn't true, but she has a lot of issues generating Concerto energy, which is her biggest downside (if you know something I don't please share). My solution is to have her in a quick swap team with Sanhua as main DPS, since you get Taoqi's forte fully built when she intros. Also, some of her auto attacks can miss, and you don't generate concerto unless they land. Sanhua generates enough energy for her to build her ult to get her concerto energy. I only have her S0 and she works well enough
yangyangs resonance chain bonuses are flat increases. just tack the % onto the base, not a multiplier. (been messing with her lately, rexelent also has a nice recent r6 showcase yangyang where the damage isnt incredibly wild)

You are incredible at explaining every detail of each character in a way that is far more objective than any other CC tier list I've seen so far, everyone just copies the same papercrafting without going into the actual IRL playability of characters and how that contributes to dmg more than just the theoretical (not that dmg calcs are bad, they just can't function as the final say on dmg, especially in a game requiring dodging and paying attention to enemy movements).

her full rotation has higher scaling than I BELIEVE everyone in the game more consistently. Is she a Jiyan... no, but she is a more consistent one and a less selfish one so in hot swap teams its going to be better dps than a jiyan overall👀

I got my Taoqi in healing set, Jianxin in moonlit and Danjin doing Danjin things. Taoqi is such a beast for damage and survival, probably my fav character.

I think this is a general note for this tier list, but all the placements of where they are on the tier list is for the end game and when you get sequences. Note that you will (probably) get way more sequences for the 4 stars and because of that he scales the tier list to that. Basically this tier list is meant to last for a few patches

Finally people starting to understand. After Looking at characters kit, i started investing in yang and sanhuha. In my Opinion they both deserves S tier with dupes
I already knew I wanted to play Taoqi with Jinhsi early on, but especially after they made the changes to her for the Skill Damage bonus. Only problem was that I couldn't think of a 3rd character to run since I was going to keep Verina/Sanhua/Havoc Rover as my other team. Then it hit me that Yangyang would be perfect, since she's on the banner.
Taoqi has a hard time building concerto, but there are two fixes for that. Having Discord (which I happened to get off the standard weapon banner), and being able to use her ult faster (which is why her 5th sequence is so good for her). But with Yangyang, I don't have to worry about my Taoqi being S0. And if I somehow get her to S6, that 20% attack increase will do wonders for Jinhsi, assuming I can get Taoqi to about a 5 second rotation.
Once I finish rebuilding my Taoqi I will FOR SURE be going in depth with her, but I personally dont struggle with her concerto generation between jianxin and yinlin, but i also havent directly tested it to be 100% sure soooo... I will also have to try discord, might be worth the drop in def (can be circumvented I guess with a 4 cost def echo with solid crit subs elsewhere) (she needs a 5* weapon she can use lol)
Hey man, I really like your insights and would really appreciate if you'll give me some tips rn. I currently have C1 Calcaro, Yinlin, and verina. I have enough pulls to get yinlin's signature but at the same time I want to save that guarantee for Jinhsi when she comes out. However I don't have Jinhsi guaranteed nor do i currently have enough pulls to go for her. What should I do?
Yinlin's weapon is genuinely amazing on ANY character that can hold that kind. If you like yinlin, I'd pull her weapon because it makes her ABSURDLY stronger (and encore and any other DPS who can use it, again). Jinshi is skippable moreso than an amazing Yinlin for any account atm.
But, if you like jinshi, waifu > meta, always, so do whatever your heart desires brother💪 (+ changli will be nearly guaranteed by back half of the banner👀)

man, the main problem of the main problem of yuanwu S6 is that its a 3 second bonus.. you barely make in time to enter and to a burst.. and the bonus will be out of the window , people don't realize how short 3 seconds are in this game with animations while you skill etc.
it stays for 3 seconds, If I am not mistaken if you stay in his pillar's range it keeps re buffing? i dont have him s6 yet otherwise id go test it rn
Her skill has 2500%+ scaling at max stacks and her ult has 1600% scaling which is 4100% scaling?

Aalto is underrated asf. His DPS could be as good as Yangyang if not better, only difference is he's way more agile, his mist clone can literally make the boss locking on it instead of locking Aalto, if anyone have skill issues and can't perfect dodge the Hologram bosses for 4 mins straight, then you might wanna try out Aalto lol.
Yeah aalto is stupid good overall. Got a video on that soon here👍 difference is he is more selfish with his field time so Yangyang is still a more universally applicable character is all. He is SUPER FUN tho regardless👀
As someone who lost Yinlin's 50/50 to Lingyang and had to do 160 pulls hard pity to get her, this video hurts my soul in a DEEP level. 😭😭😭

i really like your unconventional approach to your evaluation, but i think there are some key elements u missed.
1- chixia - isnt where she is on the tier list because she has low scaling, its because she is 4 star and her base stats are low, her 300 base atk means she by default deals ~15% dmg less than any 5 star with 410+ atk in a moderate build, and this exacerbated the more atk% from external buffs u add on, meaning that her unfortuante 4 star stats makes it so she scales less effectively than a 5 star stats like havoc rover.
2 - yangyang - same problem, doesnt matter if she gets insane scaling, her base atk will always be 250, her s6 doesnt make her OP, it just puts her inline with s6 mortefi and s0 yinlin, which is pretty much the golden standard for modern gacha games, a s6 rarity fully duped low rarity should and will compete against a s0 high rarity
3 - mortefi - contrary to your claim, he quires nearly 0 investment to fulfill his support role, if he is your heron carrier, he needs 10%ER to pull his rotation off, if your referring to damage, then the same thing applies to yangyang and any1 else, all supports needs to be invested if u want them to deal damage.
4 - taoqi - im sorry if u really like her, i hope u use who u like, but her kit is completely jank and anti-synergistic with her self and is by far the worst unit in the game probably right next to aalto, again im not trying to shit on any1's favorite unit, but what u mentioned "swap her in to Q and out" simply is not possible unless u give her 230%+ ER, she also has the worst concerto fill in the game, her QEF (ulti-skill-forte) doesnt even give her 3/4 of her concerto bar, u need to do another 6 of her BA forcing a nearly 9 second field time in order to perform her role, for like a %1700 SPLIT SCALING mod, making her the lowest contributor to your team dps.
lastly, i dont think changli will be mdps material, again, use what u like, but her mods are very low, and from the wording i dont think her def ignore applies to her damage outside of her forte and liberation, even if it does, it would only put her near and around the same lvl of current existing dps, and if it doesnt she will come up short.

for the 4* dps' stats aren't as big of an issue due to diminishing returns anyway, and chixia is free to run lots of crit dmg / fusion dmg since her S5 + passive buff her atk so much, and yangyang has BIG aero dmg bonuses and can focus crit rate/dmg as well instead (5* sword puts in WORK with her). Yes, their attack scales lower, but with sequences this is alleviated and allows for a more optimal and Flexible building approach.
For mortefi, his role is easy to fulfill, but for damage output he struggles without a lot of investment. if he is just on rotation for jiyan sure, but for anyone else he would like to be dealing dmg off field as well (and with jiyan tbf it doesn't hurt). His placement is moreso 2 factors, A being his near exclusive use with Jiyan, and B that yinlin does the dmg part SO MUCH BETTER than he does, as well as having a more universal and sometimes better buff on outro. Mortefi is still cracked he just requires investment (somewhat alike to the above point ngl)
Taoqi - in proper teams her ult will be charged SO FAST with just like 20-30% er, the issue is her concerto, which I am currently labbing whether its better to rotate slower with dauntless with more buffs, or if they have diminished enough that discord is the better option, even with less damage per hit, could be worth for rotation smoothness and speed, so I am currently working on a video that goes over that.
Changli - don't be mean to my girlfriend *ahem* I mean ehh, I think her def shred on her forte and ult is all it needs to be on tbh, def shred scales like a MOFO compared to self-buffs, the equation is an interesting one indeed. She may be more swappy than I think she will be but I digress Def shred gets stupid real quick, and its a kuro game lol, PGR is BUILT on def shred (literally a dps with no "tank" to shred enemy def isnt a dps they are a wet spaghetti noodle fr)

I find your view hypocritical in that u would praise yangyang for her damage potential at high sequence while criticizing mortefi's while both of them need "investment". S5 mortefi's personal dmg output is roughly the same as a S0 yinlin, both around the 200k range, a S5 yangyang also lands in that same ball park. Yangyang sacrifices support potency for ultility, until we get a 3000% liberation with 175 cost, she will never(and shouldnt) be placed higher on the tier list than "exclusive" supports because her dmg increase even at high sequence doesnt justify her lackluster outro. Math doesnt lie
as for chianli's def shred, it really isnt worth that much, based on the dmg formula posted in wuthering fandom wiki. def% will increase in effectiveness exponentially, but the first 15% def ignore will only equal to roughly 5% dmg increase, on barely 50% portion of her dmg profile if u want to field her as main dps.
lastly as a show of good faith ill share my taoqi lab with u, she is stuck between a rock and hard place, u either employ a hyper quick swap strategy where u forego her forte/ulti entirely, and use her strictly as a swapin-BA2BA3-swapback-BA4, this ~1sec field time gives her 25 concerto, u do this 3 times, and slot in her intro+skill whenever u see fit, and this will reduce her field time to around ~5 seconds total to fill her concerto. bringing her time inline with other support's standard. This unfortunately make it so she deals next to 0 damage thx to her BA is entirely atk scaling.
OR
u do the standard rotation intro-Forte-R-E, whether u give her dauntless or the concerto weapon is redundant, as even with r5 concerto weapon u still wont escape needing to do afew BAs with her, and push her field time to 8~9 seconds, which is borderline main dps field time, its pick your poison at that point. Her forte is simply too clunky.
this is why i consider her kit poorly designed and anti-synergistic, she simply doesnt get to have her cake and eat it too like all the other supports. But dont let this sway u if u like her, this is a gacha after all and im pretty sure we can all crush the tower by the time we are lvl90 either way.

I have some serious testing to do now to make sure I haven't been mistaken so far for sure. Personally Mortefi stays at that tier until more characters like his outro simply out of nichety of use case scenarios, and that for the investment his value is lower BECAUSE he is so niche atm.
Taoqi I gotta lab for sure. She may not be outro material but I can 100% confirm as a burst DPS she can 100% get ult in 16 seconds and pop it for BIG BIG damage and swap back out again, ive done it personally many times (I'm switching her set from havoc to moonlit so she is a WIP atm I'm working on it), but yeah ill have to seriously dig in deep and study her concerto energy gain dynamics.
As for changli, TBF it is yet to be seen since she is still off of leaks atm, but I firmly believe the def shred is underrated. Looking at year 1 pgr, it was the SAME EXACT WAY but then people caught on and at higher level once we got there the damage def shred applied was an ASTOUNDING difference, so much so that teams without a shredder were deemed largely unplayable anymore. It's not as extreme (yet) as that but it is still very valuable to have access to. I'm not gonna say anything factual for numbers for her yet until we get closer to release and/or I get her and build her, but drawing from history and mathematics I come to the conclusion that it's gonna be bigger than we think it will be, at least in the future, if not sooner.
Again though, thank you for the pushback, I love the brain workout and i really am getting just super excited to dig my heels in and keep grinding this game and learning all there is to know about it!

reason you hot swap calcharo is bc his intro does most dmg in the game intro skill wise its insane also you didnt talk about talents much which are huge for alot of characters
Talents were largely included in the tiering because that's KINDA base kit stuff but yeah you are right, I'll go more in-depth for the next one for sure!

Taoqi concerto building is so poor though. I really like the skill buff on outro but it takes her so long to get concerto to even trigger outro
One of her sequences increases her conserto energy generation I believe, helps a LOT
Using the Discord Broadblade that restores concerto energy might help

Jiyan's ult doesn't scale with ult damage, not even the initial burst if you have at least 50% forte gauge filled, Yinlin's outro does not buff Jiyan, are you sure she outdoes Mortefi simply by virtue of her own off field damage being higher than his, while he buffs the 10s of Jiyan's ult by 38% deepen (multiplicative). I have trouble imagining it, or is it based on you thinking her outro buffs Jiyan's ult at all? Unless I'm wrong, but as far as I know and have talked with Jiyan players, his ult scales with heavy attack damage only (which is why Mortefi is so good for him)
Also, about spectro rover for Jinhsi, I'm not convinced she's going to be so good with Jinhsi. Obviously resistance shred is great, and 10% is nothing to laugh at, it's amazing. But like, take verina, she gives you a 20% attack buff and 15% more damage multiplicatively, is "only" 10% resistance shred better than 20% atk + 15% multiplicative damage? And even worse, you kinda want different elements together with Jinhsi if you've read her kit, so she can stack her forte faster, and her forte has insane multipliers on it. Even Verina might be awkward, we'll have to see, but triple spectro definitely seems weird, and if double spectro works fine, Verina should be better than spectro mc I believe. Verina who can do off field damage for the third character as well, so you have two elements at once to flll Jinhsi's forte gauge.

Yinlin is worse some people tested it and showed me their numbers💪
10% damage resist (+ heals so can run healing set) is better than just straight attack due to diminishing returns on the stat since you already will be having so much (+ you are also adding attack, whether it be healing set, or moonlit set + heron buff which is probably better)
@@CashySwanson Yeah I'm not surprised, there was no way Yinlin was better, I would have been shocked. If Jiyan did do ult damage, then sure, but her not buffing Jiyan at all made it a weird claim.
But it's not just atk increase, that's the thing, it's also the outro 15% dmg deepen buff, and the coordinated attacks so you can have two elements at once to fill Jinhsi's forte gauge faster. I didn't mention echo sets, because you can have them anyway if you want them on any characters, it's not what would make the difference.
Only res shred is of course much better than atk, I can also see 10% res shred be better than 15% damage deepend, mayybe (deepen is multiplicative though). But better than both at the same time, even with diminishing return, I don't know about that. Maybe, but I'd be surprised. I'm open to it though
Also, as far as I know, I could be wrong, all multipliers are additive unless they specify deepen, in which case they're multiplicative, basically (I could be misinformed). So I'm not sure for instance that Danjin's sequences all multiply each other, I believe they're all additive, they're still great and she's a good character, but they don't potentialize each other as far as I'm aware.
I also doubt Changli would be a great support for Encore. Again, Encore barely scales with ult damage (though more than Jiyan), her entire ult does not deal ult damage at all, it's all basic atk and skill damage. She does benefit from the fusion damage, but her rotation is longer than Changli's buffs, and als, Changli's outro ends when you swap, and Encore wants to swap cancel a decent bit right? You were saying yourself that you shouldn't swap cancel with Calcharo so that he can keep Yinlin's buff, why would it be different with Changli and Encore when it's the same mechanic. Changli seems to me like she wants good on field time, I just don't see her pairing well with Encore.

f2p player, im at a 50/80 pity on yinlin banner with a little under 4k astrites right now. Union level 42, got every other 5 star already. Is yinlin worth the 50/50 pity or do I save for changli/Jinhsi???
IF you lose pity, that sucks, guaranteed jinshi / changli / future character. If you don't pull the future ones would still be just as guaranteed you would just be hunting 4*'s, unless you win 50/50 on Yinlin.
As of rn, Yinlin going into ver 1.1 is going to STILL be the highest value character on an account. Her off field (and on field) damage output, energy Regen, and flexibility with her outro, makes her just an auto include in every team comp that has room for her.
Obv it depends on if you'd prefer jinshi or changli but if you didn't have a preference I'd say Yinlin 100%.
My counter argument is that IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD HER WEAPON AS WELL I would probably save for a character you like, is strong, and get their weapon. Weapons matter a LOT in this game compared to like Genshin impact. Think more like how important light comes are in star rail, that's weapons in this game.
Yinlin and don't pull for 1.1, no yinlin pull for 1.1 characters, or possibly skip both to get a character AND weapon you want in the future and live with what you have (which it sounds like a lot with every other 5* already lol). All in all, what does your heart point you to?
@@CashySwanson ty for response. hmm I most def wont be able to afford yinlin AND her weapon, and after seeing some leaks of Changli and Jinhsi, my heart is leaning towards pulling for those guys. They look a little more fun too in my opinion, especially Changli, so I think that is the move for me. Thanks!
@@phenomenon000 changli has a sequence that increases her DEF shred, probably more important that her weapon but we will have to see, but if you can, I'd go for it (unless 1.2 / 1.3 characters are ride or die, like scar or something)
Im pretty sure Baizhi outro buff lasts just aslong as Verina so she can play the same and not have to swap to her as much. Its that stupid thing she drops on the ground thats only for one character which i feel should be ignored anyway.
Kinda confused here, I heard people say you want different elements on the same team for Jinshi. But other people also say making a spectro team with her.
What's the truth here?
@@rascal5228 at S0 and 1 you want 2 different teammate types (not including jinshi so like spectro rover's/Yinlin works yk), so that you can hot Swap and charge her incandescence fast.
At S2+ she charges max stacks on her own in about 4 seconds, so you can run spectro rover + anybody (veyrina being the best support) so that's why they are running mono spectro, S6 S.Rover has spectro res shred which increases the whole team's damage output substantially.
How do you keep calcharo safe during his long animations if you dont swap cancel?
I want to say "get gud" but honest answer you have to be really good at timing your strikes with animation cancelling them (skill, basic, heavy, dash, jump, etc etc). his dmg output is highest staying on field w/ 5pc atk set with proper play, but yes, he is by far the HIGHEST and most DEMANDING character to play in the game skill wise

This is a hard decision, and it kind of depends on what your account is and who you prefer to play as just for preference sake, I would like to say that because jinshi is getting her own echo, she's probably going to be a better main DPS for like a more sustained on-field DPS, however, changli brings high DPS in her kit, as well as defense shred, so she also has her uses as maybe a boss shredder rather than a boss nuker. I got a video going up soon that goes over this in more detail, but even with that mentioned, we won't really know for sure who's the better pull until we know for sure what their numbers are looking like outside of leaks
If you see a Genshin hater, just show them top tier Alto and Lingyang gameplay and let them know these are some of the worst champs in the game
The modufiers on Yangyang Sequences seems to be additive. Gave you reakky tested and confirmed they are multiplicative?
Because they suposded to stack additively with things like: Havoc DMG, Resonance Liberation DMG, etc.
The only sperate multiplicative modifier is Deepen so far, right?
No, they are all separate percentile scalings to the damage output, type%, skill/lib%, outright DMG%, crit DMG% are all multiplicative, which is why they have diminishing returns with too much of one and not enough of the others
Damn dude what a great analysis and great points :) I agree with everything :) I played a lot taoqi and it was like damn she sooo cool to play unkillable and that ult !!! And as for yangyang Ivenjust started to build her cuz somewhere I felt that there is something in her :D and like u said she is so fun to play and my damage is ok and that grouping ! I want to make her my wuwa kazuha :D cuz I have him in almost every team :P I hope she will be on banners soon. Great video :)
the S5+ passive buff from yangyang is a Damage Increase so its diluted with all the Aero damage increase and resonance liberation damage increase stats. It is not a DMG multiplier as compared to Jiyans S6 Description. So I get the part where there might be a misunderstanding on that part. I think I like your approach to taking things in practice instead of regurgitating other peoples tier list but I think it would be good to prove it in practice instead of taking the description at face value because some skills look really good in the description but not on practice
its not damage scaling, it would specify, it is outright damage of the attack, which is a seperate multiplier on top of everything else. unless the description is wrong (kuro typo moment) then it should function as I had described, which is incredible for the character. I plan to prove it probably at the beginning of next patch, unless I skip jinhsi for some reason

People don't realize how broken is to be able to tank ANY heavy attack, im sure they will make attack that cannot be dodged in the future aswell.
Not only she get almost not damage with the right echo, BUT when the effect finish, you can also counter, in which she cannot get damaged. Its insane value to me.
Sadly most of the "high" level play only consider dps, cause of the time challenge, but that's always been bullshit to me personally.
*Inhale* some bosses have command grabs (LOOKING AT YOU SCAR AND BEEG MONKEY) which sucks a bit for her but in nearly all untimed content she is an auto win lol
i just found out that you can solo most bosses if not al of the open world, simply spamming charged attack lol. that once in a while that you parry since you're not timing it, its enough to keep you alive and kill them at the same time lol. Zero effort ahhah you don't even need to be decent to kill things with Taoqi

Spectro rover's spectro res shred is still really beneficial so she is still nice. I think pre S2 jinshi really needs off field damaging characters so yinlin ideally, Mortefi is the budget option to keep her stacks going. That team is prolly her best S0-1 team I'd think (spec rover also heals so sustain is there as well)
bro there was some mistakes in the video, but one is very critical, yinlin doesn't buff Jiyan's liberation ... Jiyan's liberation damage -for both part- is concidered heavy attack damage, he does 0 liberation damage, yinlin doesn't buff shit for jiyan, her outro has 0 value for jiyan, mortefi is the best support forhim period.
This is true, Yinlin Sadly doesnt buff jiyan at all since his lib is all heavy dmg.
i took that claim back and rescinded that her off field dps might make up for the difference in heavy attack bonus, ESPECIALLY if he has lots of subs for it, because diminishing returns. Her off field dps vs mortefi + heavy bonus outro would be a cool number crunch to look at ngl
@@CashySwanson nope, i have yinlin(63.5% cr, 237.8% cd ,and120%er, electro set and with her signature weapon lvl70, and almost maxed out). on the other hand Mortefi (cadenza lvl60, 59.4%cr, 195%cd, 158%er, moonlit set, talents level 5 except liberation, no stat bonus skills but both inherent skills).
Mortefi out performs yinlin in jiyan team in the new ToA perfect electro side for yinlin, believe it or not by a lot (15-20seconds) .

She's a late bloomer, but once you get her S6 then she'll rock. You can play her as dps or sub dps. But I think sub dps is good because she's fast to fill energy like sanhua.

@@SeireiYura it works really well on her, but normally I'd run moonlit. She runs aero though taking the pieces that scale ult damage, aalto gets basic DMG, and Jiyan gets heavy DMG lol

Ehhhh... I'll be going into that in a future video but it comes down to a DPS with def shred and a DPS without it but higher scalings. My vote is def shred (changli) but I'll be getting more in-depth here at the start of 1.1 once we for 100% sure have their intended kits and not just "leaks" for numbers

YES, encore is very much a more off field hot swap character so when changli is on field encore could literally be sitting behind her like a turret. I'd imagine we would play encore the CN way with her, using skill and nuklear bomb modes for dmg while switching out and not so much her ult
Another tier list where ling yang gets shit for being able to do everything they say he can't do. He can do bosses perfectly fine and can avoided more damage just by being in the air so he doesn't need multiple dodges. At least build the damn character.

yinlin yuanwu SHREDS the vibration bar but sadly the payoff isn't there yet, we need an echo set and ideally a dps that can abuse this mechanic before it is considered "worth it" over just straight dps
Jiyan's ult is considered heavy damage, Yinlin does nothing for him.

Yangyang S tier? No one. Not one online tierlist has her this high. You claim her to be a very good dps with CC capabilities. You base this off her high ult scaling. But why is she hitting mid numbers? Every showcase her dmg is ok. Not great not terrible. I hope you build her quick in 1.1 and see her potential for yourself. Sorry if im being rude, but her in S tier makes people heavily invest into her which can lead to disappointment when the numbers don't fit the narrative. I myself, have no proof for her place in the tierlist. I base my opinion off what I see of showcases and tierlist talks..
Also her CC suck abilities are very mid which I did test myself. She groups up mobs already close to each other which is fine. But it's no near kazuha/venti or even sucrose lvls of strong.

@@SlasherNL I didn't mention how she could be placed as low as beads here depending on either if there was a typo issue in her sequence four and five, as well as situationally against bosses versus mobs, so there is a level of discrepancy. That was definitely my heartshot pick in the tier list no doubt. I still do believe though that her grouping potential at higher sequence levels gets amazing, the attack boost for the team, the consistency of grouping (not tied to her ultimate like Jianxin) as a sub DPS/hybrid support could still run moonlit set with heron for x-ray buffs as well , I still believe she's up there in the tier list.
I've been hearing talk about how her scalings were indeed typoed, and how they're flat scalings not multiplicative to her percentage scaling stats, if that is truly the case, I would probably put her A tier, right around Jianxin level. She is basically the better grouper, whereas Jianxin is the better overall like healing/ grouping support from majority content. Yang yang excels more so in mob stage environments, due to her more consistent grouping And damage output, whereas Jianxin excels at basically face tanking bosses with the geochelone echo cheese strat And ultimate buff on outro.
Speaking of, Yang, Yang's outro is more valuable than people give it credit for, and will see more and more value as we get higher bulk cost characters introduced, such as jinhsi

based on what we know, who do you think will be the best pairs for Jinhsi? Mort and Verina are married to my Jiyan so they're out, and my Yinlin is married to Calcharo.
Probably Taoqi for skill damage, and Yuanwu for coordinate attack/vibration damage. If she's ult dmg then Changli should work too.

Spectro Rover is an option, I also have Baizhi and Jianxin built with Variation/Abyssal Surges on each respectively. Taoqi seems like a good option to run Moonlit on, maybe Spectro Rover with the healing set and genesis sword? Changli won't be out for another month.
@@xorphzif we're talking about s0 jinshi I think you are better of for a character that's providing coordinated attacks, if you don't want to surrender yinlin, yuanwu is your next bet although his damage is not that high, Jinshi can benefit for the coordinated attacks to charge up her forte since that's where most of her damage is gonna be. In my account I'm gonna run Jinshi-Yinlin-Verina/Taoqi.

@@xorphz it wont be optimal but it's an option if you don't want to break apart Mort and Yinlin. Taoqi and Spectro rover can be used as subdps or healer/buffer interchangeably (blue weapon that heals you can trigger 5set bonus). To me, especially with an account like yours, Jinhsi is not worth and is a skip. If you want to pull for her, I would wait until a week to see if people find other tech/comps.

i loosely mentioned how he is the "best support for a character that doesn't exist for a mechanic that doesn't have a use yet", because I imagine in the future vibration breaking will be MUCH more important than we have rn. We have to remember, Kuro said THEMSELVES that they wanted the first area of the game to be "easy mode"👀

Taoqi should prolly be used with healer set and def% as a support for Jinshi along with Mortefi since he'd be better than Yinlin with her specially if u give him the 5 star pistols. But its tricky to build the team, cause i mean u'd want the healer set buffs too xd without gimping her too much. And the way Jinshi plays maybe Taoqi wont need energy regen so then its not gonna be hard but can't tell untill Jinshi releases.

20% OF ATK , x 5 seconds.. in THE BEST scenario, you get 2k attack. meaning.. its a heal that give you 400hp x sec x5 sec... that's a 2k heal , and characters will have a minimum pool at lvl 90 of like 20k or so.
2k.. over 20k... wtf is that heal for? even a poring does more damage than 2k. And im not even talking about the ice girl that heal for a wooping 0.24% of her hp when.. bla bla bla XD

in timed, difficult content... admittedly yeah its a get gud scenario but otherwise absurdly useful. Veyrina is moreso for her buffs than the healing (healing set helps, so does healing bonus), but your "main" healer is baizu for sure, since she scales off her HP, + healing bonus its considerable
People like praising him for putting yangyang and Sanhua in S tier, i know they are really good to perform as sub dps and im grateful that finally someone realize their potential, but putting Lingyang at D while he dont own the character and put him just because he PERSONALLY dont like Lingyang, then this is not "the only wuwa tierlist you gonna need at 1.1" its your own tierlist, as Lingyang main i know he didnt perform well as other dps but i can full star tower with him, if you build him properly, he dont deserve D at least put him at B or C, you need to be more objective next time you make tierlist for people
the reason he is put so low is because his "gimmick" we could say, which everyone has something they just "do", is to fight in the air and ideally juggle enemies. Bosses will ABUSE you being in the air if you aren't careful, and hitboxes are just unfortunately not playing in your favor against bosses, which is most content in the game. and as an exclusive dps character, he just doesn't perform at the level to get out of the lower tiers. that being said, EVERYONE IS TOP TIER with investment, but the characters of whom to choose to invest into... well that's what the tier list is for essentially.
Lingyang is a tryhard and a selfish char in combat. If only he doesn't need to build up his forte just to be able to ult he would have been bearable.

the sequence she gains the 20% crits taoqi becomes a VERY good hotswap burst dps, but yes, most 4*'s like higher sequences. Aalto however becomes simply OP at S3 with midair attacks (this being more of a new discovery since recording the video), yuanwu needs S5 to be useable RIGHT NOW (in the future I see vibration break becoming important) and a few, like mortefi, danjin, and baizu dont really need them although they are nice to have
