@@pan.sushant Yup after 8 years I still use it. I love it. I have many of the attachments. I’ve made hundred of loaves of bread. I grind my own beef and chicken. I make ice cream. I make pasta for spaghetti and lasagna. And of course tons of cookies. Get the “Everdime” for it, prevents the head from rattling around.
Great demo.. all around. I just got my Kitchenaid and pasta attachments for Christmas. I'm excited. One thing I would like to see is storage. I hear you an cook them for 90 seconds then ice bath and store in plastic? Or just keep them raw?
Good evening, I am writing to you from a translation for any errors in the message. I want to ask you how thick a sheet can be at number 1 if it is known can you tell me. Thank you very much.
Probably not a good idea. Pastry dough is more fragile and less stretchy, and often contains sugar, which would cause a sticky mess and be difficult to clean.
Consider buying a pasta rack; hanging the pasta after it's made will insure it dries evenly and flat (better than lying the noodles on a tray), plus they won't stick together and you can get more noodles on a rack than you can fit in one layer on a tray (more than one layer crushes the pasta below and sticks). My grandmother used a rack and the back of the kitchen and dining room chairs (she'd put a towel down first). She had pasta hanging all over her house
+vee tour I think the plastic hangers would work quite well. Same idea really, plus you could hang them side by side on a shower rod. Wouldn't that look amazing? I would stay away from using metal hangers though.
I have. Just make sure you balance the pasta. A few strands on the left AND right or start in the middle. A lopsided hanger makes for a messy counter. I would hang the hanger on the Kitchen cabinet handle.
The screw that holds the attachment on becomes loose while I’m trying to use the pasta rollers and before you know it, the entire attachment is in my hands and so is the dough. I screwed it in so tight, but that doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
I would make sure you have a real kitchenaid attachment & not a counterfeit one. Apparently Amazon has had a problem with counterfeit ones being sold as the real deal. One of the tell tale signs of a counterfeit product is it being wobbly or not able to be sturdy & properly secured.
Mine make a swing movement when is working (I do strong pressure when I secure the screw) And the base of the roller (where you connect the attachment with the stand mixer) get too hot when works for few minutes. It's normal?
Too expensive. Now I'm talking about the kitchenAid 5 piece deluxe set which makes thin sheets and cuts four types of noodles. There are electric pasta rollers and cutters out there for half the price. And if you don't mind turning a crank handle there are excellent pasta rollers and cutters out there for 1/4 the price.
My wife just bought me this for Christmas. I've wanted one since I was a child. Really a dream come true. Can't wait to get started! Haha
Will Lewis 2 years later.. do you still use it regularily?
after 8 years??

Excellent demonstrator. Competent, well-spoken, and appealing.
It's the KitchenAid Professional 620 Stand Mixer in Brushed Nickel.
How do you sanitize and get rid of the egg smell from this attachment ? My noodle recipe required egg.
just got this pasta maker. excited to try it!

How can I make phyllo/fillo sheets using the sheet roller attachment?

Is it possible to roll bread dough in the roller?
probably, but bread dough is springy, this pasta dough looks really tough to start with, hence needing speed 1 until its softer.
Molim Vas,kako mogu kupiti KitcerAid.Hvala.
Can i use it for croissant dough, thxs a lot
if you keep a dough hook attachment connected it won't make that terrible loud grinding noise fyi lol...
My fettuccine cutters sound like a Sherman tank without muffler!
@@CHI-ts2dk mine does too if I don't put a mixer attachment on it lol, not the rollers themselves tho
Hi, can I use the pasta attachment to roll out pastry dough, like Flaky or Puff pastry dough?
Hi Nadira: We're not too sure about this, but it'd be worth trying just to find out!
Probably not a good idea. Pastry dough is more fragile and less stretchy, and often contains sugar, which would cause a sticky mess and be difficult to clean.
I want a new mixer. I want attachments.

+Irene That's hilarious. And we couldn't agree more; we love our pasta dryer! www.williams-sonoma.com/products/pasta-dryer/
+Irene Would clothes hangar work in place of a pasta rack? I'm cheap, and don't want to spend too much.

It is a great attachment, use it all the time.
That looks great!!!!
will the sheet roller work with fondant
Not advisable to get sugar into the rollers. Any moisture, and you have a sticky mess.
Something bad happened at after 1:50. Why the edit?
good tip at 2:10
can you make Asian egg noodles with these attachments?
which kitchenaid is this and which colour?
I love my kitchen aid
what is the whole time spent on this, not the edited time? Thanks! :)
takes roughly 10 mins to make the dough. 20 mins to let it sit out in room temp and then another 5 mins for making the actual pasta.
Why do you have to keep narrowing the press, vs going straight to the required thickness?
Bc pasta dough is very dry and hard, you need to do it in steps
does this attachment work on Kitchenaid Altra Pro
+Lorri Coggins Yes, this attachment should work on KitchenAid's Ultra Pro Stand Mixer.
how long does fresh pasta take to cook.
+Alia Cumberbatch Only a few minutes! www.williams-sonoma.com/recipe/tip/all-about-fresh-pasta.html
помогите решить проблему :у меня не проворачивается валик-защёлкивается фиксатор для переключениятолщины теста и не пркручивается.что делать?

by width i feel you mean thickness
Kara you rock
damn thats cool
pasta dough is very dry, putting it in at the thickness you want it wouldnt do anything
Good God, could she be any more breath-takingly lovely?
And, yes-- a great demonstration. Well done; now I want to get started.
Your right
Watch your fingers, Ladies!
Wish you didn't make so many cuts. When I watch a 'how to' I want to see all the manual steps. Your How to Video Grade score: C-
