I will forever feel this song in my soul. Through my teen years I listened to it non stop, once listened to it on repeat for over a month and my sisters still talk about it. I still listen to it in my 30's ❤
I’m still listening too. This was such a great song. The nostalgia is hitting me. Why did it go by all to fast? Why didn’t anyone tell us that time would fly by 😢

This video shows that we are not alone. You are not the only one feeling lonely and asking yourself whats worthing it in your live. I really like the video and the song, very good job sum41!
This song was on repeat through my worst period of my life. After five years of hell in school almost ready to kill myself and just starting my second year of college. I’m 25 now married, house and planning for a family. A healthy routine keeps the darkness at bay but I come back to songs like this to remember how far I’ve come. Keep moving forward it can get better
It's been 20 years of caring the weight of depression.......it never got better just MORE drugs and booze to feel normal......When does it stop.? I don't know how many more mins if have
you know its a good song when the music you listened to in your teens come back to hit you harder when you're an adult. This will be on my playlist forever
Toquei muito essa música no meu violão tempo de escola foi uma das minhas primeiras músicas tiradas ouvindo ela essa banda sempre estará em parte de minha vida
Sum 41 used to be a NOFX Cover Band in the mid 90's, they were on their way to play a huge show and decided they needed to change their name to something better, it was the 41st day of their summer break and they decided to call themselves "Sum 41"
A couple years back I got to see them perform live along with papa roach it was the best concert I attended when they played this song I got chills started to sing along My favorite song from sum 41 Oh yeah they did a cover to blur song 2 it was amazing
All I can really comment and say is to stay strong Derek. I know it seems like all your monsters have come and invaded the small space in your head but your stronger than that. Always have been a fan of sum41 and still will be. Stay strong bro, these times may be hard but you'll be able to get through it all.
There’s that occasional night where I pop these “Feels” and “Nostalgic” songs where you just break down and cry because you know things are never ever going to be the same again… the pain, regrets, but also just being thankful to where your life has ended up. Thanks to Music like this!

Holy shit I remember watching the "making of" or behind the scenes for this video when it came out. It was amazing back then and it's still awesome now.

Immediately I asked her "hey mom what's this song called" "sum 41 - pieces" that was 2017, but ever since it reminds me of that moment - I was staying at my aunties going through trauma and it's what I needed at the time my aunty is narcissistic to me and my mother, I'm 20 and very thankful I got to repair me and my mothers relationship I don't judge her 💖

I tried to be perfect
But nothing was worth it
I don’t believe it makes me real
I thought it’d be easy
But no one believes me
I meant all the things I said
If you believe it’s in my soul
I’d say all the words that I know
Just to see if it would show
That I’m trying to let you know
That I’m better off on my own
This place is so empty
My thoughts are so tempting
I don’t know how it got so bad
Sometimes it’s so crazy
That nothing can save me
But it’s the only thing that I have
If you believe it’s in my soul
I’d say all the words that I know
Just to see if it would show
That I’m trying to let you know
That I’m better off on my own
On my own
I tried to be perfect
It just wasn’t worth it
Nothing could ever be so wrong
It’s hard to believe me
It never gets easy
I guess I knew that all along
If you believe it’s in my soul
I’d say all the words that I know
Just to see if it would show
That I’m trying to let you know
That I’m better off on my own

That’s a great point. I loved Treble Charger
They opened for Good Charlotte in Seattle when i was 11 years old. This Canadian band changed my life. Im 31 now and still listen everyday.
This song is an emotion for me , lyrics is so much relatable to my life , still a classic for me and would be for my lifetime
Why is it so tempting to press replay over and over again?
because class is permanent, pal
This song will never get old, one of my favourites of Sum 41
I always come back to this song... just couldn't stop playing it for the longest of times.
It's Deryck's masterpiece.

This was Sum 41's masterpiece. ❤
This and Crash for me.
