the house was a lot slower in the movie, and that would make sense since it weighs probably 40k tons including the two trees, and I heard it's pretty difficult to walk with only your arms, so yeah, the house should be a lot slower.
But do keep in mind Constance’s soul is possessed into the house so realistically I don’t think she actually would feel the total weight of the house verses if she was in her own body.
