cone of 50 mm diameter and height 70 mm is resting on its base. It is cut by a cutting plane inclined at 45° to the HP and it bisects the axis of cone. Draw the development of the lateral surface of the truncated cone.
Thank you for the video! Can you please tell me how I would figure out what angle I would have to make each of the bends in the stretchout to make this pyramid?
Sorry for the delayed response. As mentioned in the video at 3:10 cut an arc from both the ends of the sector. Then from the intersection point of both the arcs, draw a line to the centre of the sector.
Short and best, thank you sir, it will help me in my today's exam👍

Thalavian vera level 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
great video but when drawing the surface development just get division of the circle in the plan and mark 12 times to get your divisions
Yes, drawing 12 divisions will give a better accurate development
Super class I can understand ur class.......
Glad to hear that
Simple explanation.... Keep going...
Thank you, I will
sir today we had same question in exam only difference was, it was given right circular cone ? is it same
Exactly! What I have drawn in this video is a right circular cone. Congrats..
Wonderful sir
sir it is fav subject
thank you sir

Very useful. Learned it joyfully..
Glad to hear that
loved ur videozzz thankuuuu
Thank you so much..
Sir shall we use the same answer for truncated cone, diameter and height are different pls tell me sir
Yes, the same procedure is to be followed to draw the cone. Then we have to transfer the cut points.
Thank you for the video! Can you please tell me how I would figure out what angle I would have to make each of the bends in the stretchout to make this pyramid?
What do you mean by the bends? Do you mean the angle between each segment in the whole sector? If yes, that will be one eighth of the whole angle.
Thank you very much sir 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
So nice of you
Tq good explanation
Welcome..

Given in question draw side view so development is not based in side view?????
Thank you sir.Nice lecture
Thank you.
Sir how did u get a 45° by using a scale
I've drawn it approximately. Have to use a protractor or mini drafter.
OK sir
Thank You Sir for explaining 👍👍❤️

Sir how you divide this 142 angle into 2 part? Please help
