Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new around the house style vlog! I am packing our whole family up for a week away in Orlando. I'm unsure if this would be classified as a staycation as we are just in Tampa, but either way it's always a fun yearly trip we take to Orlando! The kids look forward to it and this year we have decided to go to Disney! woop!! I'll share more of the trip details in my next vlog- I've got some back to school videos coming up! but after that! Wooh. This summer flew by and we are thankful to be able to enjoy it with a trip to Orlando! I hope you were able to enjoy your summer too!

Dress #2 is perfect. Keep dress #1 for a wedding when you no longer are nursing or constantly bending over to pick little ones up. When you do take it in for alterations they can use some excess skirt fabric to make the top more modest as well. 😊

That first dress you tried on,is absolutely stunning on you! Yes, put your heels on and then see if it needs to be altered in the length. As for the bodice, it’s not too much Kim. It may be something you’re not used to wearing, but it looks absolutely incredible while still being very tasteful. Sometimes stepping outside our comfort zone is a really good thing for us to do in terms of looking at ourselves in a new light and actually loving it! The second dress is beautiful as well but I still think the first dress reigns supreme!

Kim, packing cubes are what you need! Not expensive, and each child could have his own. (Color) would save you a lot of headaches! ❤

Family of 8 here and packing us such a pain! I've actually found it helpful to use laundry baskets and/or plastic storage totes. I do 2 people to a container and one smaller size plastic tote with lid for everyone's toiletries. My kids each have a back pack for car activities, but otherwise it's 4 large baskets, 1 med tote and 1 large cooler and then the double stroller.i also keep a smaller cooler up front with snacks and drinks for the drive. But when we arrive we unpack and then can use laundry baskets as hampers for the dirtyclothes
Kim, you look gorgeous in both. However, my vote would be for dress #2.❤ I’m glad the theme parks are allowing attendee’s to bring food etc into the park. Where I live you can only bring in one bottle of unopened water. Once again Kim knocks it out of the park.😊

I find that chocolate can break one out in pimples but what I find very effective in making them go away, is by just washing the spot with soapy water , rinse and pat dry and by night or next day pimple head will have gone even though still red a little- it will heal fast. Enjoy your holiday and keep safe !

I keep a diy first aide kit in our camper . The travel size items are perfect ! Being a former Girl Scout good to always be prepared !
A little laundry tip. I sorry my laundry before I fold it.... shirts, socks, shorts. Then I fold all the shirts at the same time, all the socks etc...

Kim! You need packing cubes! They are life changing especially for theme park vacations and if you coordinate outfits.
54 yr old empty nester, I miss the extra laundry, LoL. My husband and I have no extra chores to do. its crazy, there are barely any dishes, we do laundry every 2 or even 3 weeks. I miss having daily tasks to accomplish for my kiddos. I do remember the seemingly endless piles of laundry, but now I miss them.
54 also not an empty nester though lol my daughter, her husband, and 2 kids and my 18 yr old still at home. She does most of the work though now, since she has 2 Littles she does more laundry but she will throw mine in as well.

Oh my gosh! We were in Orlando Aug 1-8 !! I was driving home listening to this video and heard you talking about Spring Hill Suites. That’s where we stayed!!!! I was like. “ dang….. I work for Marriott and always stay at the Springhill Suites in Orlando with a $60 rate! It’s fantastic! My daughter was in the Disney college program so the discounted rate was huge when we went to visit.

If you're worried about the top of the pink dress falling off, you could use pasties. OR a better option might be tape. I've never used it, but you can get tape that's made to hold things in place. Idk if it's toddler proof though. Lol A padded bra might help with certain things that are just a bit too big. The second dress looks like it might be a bit too close to a wedding dress. I thought it was white till you said it's pink. It does look good though.

Once,years ago, we were taking a weeklong camping trip and of course all the packing fell on me. I was only packing for myself,the hubby and a 5 year old boy 2 year old daughter and feeling overwhelmed! I can’t fathom packing for 7 people! All that said after we get to this very remote campground I realized I didn’t pack underwear for Anyone! We had the underwear we traveled in and swimsuits! I spent a part of each day washing underwear in the morning and swim suits in the evening! Undies are now the first thing I pack!😊
