I don't care what anyone says, seeing Sabin and EY as champs were huge highlights for me as a fan!
These five may be my fave champs of all-time!
Me too
SpecialOpsTriceratop they both just came back at Slammiversary 2020
EY winning the title was so emotional to me. Someone i grew up watching, a homegrown talent winning the tile was something special
@@vadertime9880 too bad they gave him the belt to try to copy Daniel Bryan lol
Chris Sabin winning the title was definitely shocking. Who the hell thought he would actually do it? I didn’t.
bigjoeofthe707 I died laughing when he popped Ray with the hammer lmao
bigjoeofthe707 Same
He was a great champion
It was a terrible reign too. One it halted Bully’s momentum and Sabin lost in his first defense lol
David Jackson the commentators started laughing too
I remember seeing AJ win the Championship live, I was very excited to see him finally achieve it.
AJ STYLES is one of a kind... arguably the greatest wrestler in the world today....👏👏👏👏👍👍
Shibom Dutta and you forget to mention Kenny Omega..
Not just today but also ever he’s the best ever wrestler along with HBK
No RVD is the only 'one of the kind' :P
@@saikatdas4131 AJ Styles is easily better
I guess you don’t know who Okada is
I remember watching Sabin vs Bully Ray. That was a feel good moment.
When impact wrestling crowds were real
Holy Chips TNA was awesome back in the day, 2007-2009 I preferred it to WWE. There were no actors in those audiences back then.
the lion they stopped that...actually wwe started that to get people to cheer Roman last Raw..search it up
coolskeleton 95 yeah I saw a video about the Roman plants, that was rediculous
the lion sadly in a month or 5 every one will forget
Holy Chips ok
I was there live when Aries beat Roode and the place blew up when that bell rang.
Austin Aries legitimately shocked me. I was a giant Roode mark back in 2011-2014 and I was so pissed when he lost
Eddie Edwards winning is still shocking to me.
AJ Styles winning was pretty sweet but I think almost everyone knew it was his time.
Pentagon jr. Should be on this list because I was legit SHOCKED when it happened.
Jeff Hardy should be on that list because nobody expected him to turn heel and align with hulk hogan or Eric Bishoff
The Jay Spank
Was Eddie's really that shocking?
Lashley was leaving to fight in bellator, so we sorta knew he was dropping the title.
RUclips Maintenance It was because everyone thought EC3 was going to win it.
Defy Copyright 94 no spoilers please
The Jay Spank Eddie Edwards the GOAT!
I wonder why Bobby Roode didn't stand up right after the Brainbuster, left the ring and start flipping people off?
Cause he’s a professional unlike Aries.
He was my favorite wrestler for years when I was younger. Was disappointing to find out about his ego
The 3rd one was awesome because AJ Styles was a 3 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, 2 time TNA Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, 2 time NJPW Heavyweight Champion and currently is the 2 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion! AJ Styles is one of my favorite World Heavyweight Champions and I'm a huge fan of him!!!
Plus 6 time X division, 2 time Impact Tag team, 4 time NWA Tag Team, PWG World, ROH Tag team, ROH Pure and RevPro Undisputed British Championships
80srocknroller 3 Time WWE United States Chanp
To be fair tho, Chris Sabin vs Bully Ray wasn't a very good match. This was when the whole Aces and 8s angle got stale. Dunno why that's number 2 on the list.
Alex Monro and NWA Wildside Heavyweight Champion
Alex Monro plus Two time United States Champion
Im a Michigan guy, I've met Chris Sabin at a ton of shows and every time I watch that I get chills even just a clip lol.
#4 literally brought me to tears. I CRIED. I never thought he'd win the title and after all the hype and build up and "KNOWING" Bobby Roode was getting ready for BOUND for GLORY to lose the title to James Storm... he WON THE TITLE.... lets ignore what happen afterwards... that moment was great lol
No one was actually believed that Eric Young was going to beat Magnus for the title. That is number 1 for me
I loved Mike Tenay's reaction when Sabin hit Bully Ray with the hammer.
Sick Knee by Eddie Edwards. Always delivers the goods in the big matches.
Most of those are awesome
i remember seeing aj win that title, and how happy i was to see him win. and i was even happier to see CD hoisting him up. two of my favorites from the best era TNA had to offer.
I was so shocked when Chris Sabin won, I didn't expect *him* out of everyone to win the title
EY's and AJ's victories still just gave me chills.
My 13th birthday present. Thanks, Impact Wrestling!
Great list.
Most awesome top 5 ever
Thank you Impact for some great matches!
Pentagon Jr should of been number one.
I remember seeing Sabin winning the title live in person
Awesome!
I exploded when i saw that in my home!
My two favorite matches was when AJ styles won the TNA heavyweight championship and cowboy James storm won the same title too. These guys are TNA originals and the best from TNA.
Austin Aries run was a joke. He deserved so much better. Eric Youngs run to but I absolutely loved his reaction to winning.
Loving these complitaions IMPACT
I still love AJ Styles 😂 he was my hero in elementary
AJ was already a multi time NWA world champion
The Third one is the Phenomenal One!
I miss Impact being on Spike Network. I miss the old TNA! Where it was more extreme and not the same as WWE
Everyone: Eddie Edwards
Me: Eddie Nwords
Definitely agree with number 1 🤟🏻
That front row losing it
0:44 Shorty wasn’t happy for Eddie Edwards 😂😂😂😂
Eddie Edwards is and has been my favourite tna wrestler since the wolves debuted in tna and he still is
Storm beating Angle was more improbable than AJ winning it
I remember starting to watch impact whe I was 9 a few weeks into watching the match where Eric young betrayed Bobby roode to have Boby lashely win the title was the first arc I saw and the BDC was a genuinely fun story and the fact that I got to see drew Galloway over there before seeing him return to wwe was so cool
when Bobby Roode was the longest-reigning TNA champ and one of the best heels in the business.... man the world is crazy...
Aries title win was probably the most emotional
Bobby Roode is wasting his time in WWE he should just leave & come back to Impact Wrestling
Ion gon lie but he’s is being used improperly, but I doubt going back to impact would be better
yea is probably but wwe pay more money
Samoa joe also
It’s about the money 💵
LStan05 I think they’re okay being jobbers because they get paid a lot
I miss this TNA wiv all this amazing talent & storylines
That was top 5 good guys winning the world championship!
I remember Eddy's match. I loved it!
Tna used to be so good! 2005 to 2010 ish was lit
Great matches
2:20 was the best part and memory 😎💪🤘😈
Back when Austin Aries was actually a big deal in the business.
Awesome match
Thank God for Impact......
Good old TNA 💯
If Impact can continue with what their doing now I'm sure they'll be respected and enough cash flow to gain back atleast Eric Young and Chris Sabin back.
Not trying to be one of those guys but WWE have been getting a lot of Indie/TNA/ROH darlings it's going to get overcrowded soon where no one is going to have enough to shine.
P Picaso I can see Mike benett returning
coolskeleton 95, Maria too. Mainly due to the fact their hype was cut short due to Maria's pregnancy and I think Mike had a drug problem.
Stuff like that can make a booker irritated and want to move on.
P Picaso yeah and they're very overpaid for their role since they're basically going off a midcarder wage when they were turned into jobbers
Mike's drug issues ruined their push
So happy to have EY and Sabin back! Storm may come back, too, plus guys like Red and Shelley may come out of retirement for a lil while ... Oh yeah!
AJ Styles will forever be the greatest TNA world champion. In fact, him pinning Kurt for the win is my favourite TNA moment. EY winning was good but not as awesome as AJ or Storm. It's a feel good moment when the TNA originals each won the big gold!
No James Storm over Kurt Angle?
That's should have been 1
Yes!! This definitely should’ve been there, I completely agree!
Austin Aries totally deserves more respect.
Aj is the best wrestler in the world.
he used to be
Johnny Skinwalker so who you think is the best wrestler in the world right now ?
Abdulrahman not sure. I don't watch much wrestling right now. But from what I've seen it's probably Cody Rhodes. or Jack Sabre Jr.
Johnny Skinwalker Cody? JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA
Zack* sabre jr, not really
Blaziken who says Ja Ja Ja? some portugese moron?
Chris Sabin winning was amazing, Christian coming to TNA was the best surprise ever though honestly. Jarrett had been dominating and I thought no way he gets it so fast. The way the crowd picks up Christian and he points to the screen, that's my favorite moment in wrestling history besides Eddie and Chris being center ring at WM 20 and probably Macho Man beating Ric Flair wayyyy back in the day and the emotion after. A lot of this list isn't suprising, these are guys that earned it and people thought they could win. Sabin and Eric Young were the most actually surprising that they happened on impact randomly lol.
I was thinking bout Christian , too!
That was just a few weeks after becoming a regular viewer - i just caught some highlights now and again on Fox Sports before that time.
I was so happy for Christian!
AJ should have been number one. He is by far the best TNA original
back then when Impact still worth it for watch
Give it time... Tna will be back to the glory days
mj1994 would you say they’re bound for glory?
Who is running it now?
Jerry 85g Don Callis and Scott D'More.
Coolman952 They are doing a good job.
Jerry 85g Yeah last nights show was a good episode. I can't believe what happened to Rosemary and the six-man tag match was a good match.
I wish crazy heel EY got a run with the title instead of goofy EY
well when he won he was neither goofy or heel, that is why it didn't work. they gave him a bland babyface gimmick
This character was a transition. Part of why heel EY was so good is because of how he shot up the card.
I wish he was still goofy when he won the title instead of serious EY lol
yea dropping his pants and hugging refs EY being champ would have been cool. we never get comedy champs in wrestling, it would have been original. As it stood he came off too much as a Bryan rip-off.
EY has range, in was happy with goofy EY winning and wouldn't have mind crazy EY winning the world title
best of Aj styles
This awesome top 5 TNA and Impact wrestling here... 🤘🤘👍👍💪💪💪
2012 TNA was a different level
I feel like the last one wasn't that surprising... Mostly because the storyline was a direct rip from the Daniel Bryan story. Gotta love how both company's like the steal from one another lol does make it a bit more entertaining
Still remember Eddie edwards one ,I left tna after 2015
eric young from goofy one half of the knockout tag champ to the heavyweight champion..
Chris Sabian looks like Dean Ambrose, lol
Micael Giovanny no
Sad to see how lively the crowds were back then.
Nowadays its dead.
Where's James storm?
Nicholas Cantisano agreed
I'm saying the same thing that should be number 1 or 2
it's top 10 to me :)
100% agreed. For me, the most shocking.
Nicholas Cantisano I KNOW
remember when these great things happen let have them back
I could swear they were yelling, "Bust A Knee Party!"
AJ STYLES
this time TNA is far better than WWE 😍😍😍
Austin Aries always reminded me of Chris Benoit and Dean Malinko. Great technical wrestler
Jeff Jarrett becoming champion again @ Slammiversary '06 (And I don't blame the fans for pelting him with trash); AJ Styles vs Magnus for the unified title - in which it took nine men, two coopted referees AND an evil Boss Lady to beat him; TARA's first knockout title win - HISTORY in the making; RHINO winning the NWA title @ Bound For Glory '05; and that awful knockouts lockbox match, in which TARA got screwed out of the knockout title without even getting pinned or tapped out for it, DAFFNEY got screwed out of what turned out to be her ONLY title push in TNA and the belt ended up with Skankelina LoveForSale again. Those are MY five.
Who else misses Mike tenay on commentary
Jeff’s win at bound for glory 2010 :( the way it happened..
Austin Aries!!!
The dreaded hammer. Kayfabe killer. Imagine the damage.
I was there the night Roode turned on Storm won the tittle my bro n law was 11 and cried because he loved beer $$ lol
4 out of 5 left for either WWE or ROH/NJPW Aries just went back to tna and is not a full timer there he's apart of like 7 companies right now and heavyweight champs there.
When eric young wasn’t a jobber them were the days i miss THE ORIGINAL TNA IMPACT
AJ Styles shouldn't even BE on this list. James Storm should be there. AJ Styles was shocking when he won it the FIRST time and Russo helped him. Only reason that moment was shocking is because we didn't think TNA would actually listen to us and give their own a chance to be champion over all the former WWE & WCW talent involved lol.
No Jeff Hardy?
BulletPlayzStuff, I don't think it was shocking. It was expected as he won during the early Hogan/Bichoff Era where they were only pushing former WWE guys.
fair enough
No James Storm is worse nobody saw that coming
i meant nobody saw Jeff Hardy turning heel and alligning with hulk hogan and eric bishoff and you have to be a complete liar to say you did
BulletPlayzStuff becoming heel? No. Becoming champion we expected it.
When impact was actually good
Every one is awesome
AJ Styles was so much better in TNA
Johnny Skinwalker nah
Levi Tinney umm yes. AJ Styles had a great a career because of he did there.
You see Aj was younger then in tna,but he's getting old now..
Aj has been great in tna and wwe
Johnny Skinwalker ok
AA has the smoothest brain buster in the business. FACTS
I wish I was so cool and popular and over with people that they would be crowded around me like when Christian Cage and AJ Styles won the world championship in TNA
Where’s Bully Ray Title Win vs Jeff Hardy in Steel Cage when he joined Aces and Eights??? Truly shocking how it happened
0:12-0:16-0:30-1:06-1:11-1:24-2:14-2:20-2:30-3:48-3:56-4:06-4:50-4:57-5:00-5:13
AJ Styles was one of the many faces of TNA Impact Wrestling!
AJ And His theme song Greatest ever
Abyss beating Sting by DQ to win the title should have been on here...
Rhino and James storm may have a say over some of these
Bullshit. AJ winning is the greatest moment in TNA history.
That ref literally gets hurt every match😂😂😂
