@GundamLegacyExtreme Yes, and kinda. Most-poseable legs still goes to Dlx. Serpentera and Drive-Max Megazord. Quite a few Megazords have had knee joints as well as partially-functional hips, so the Astro Megazord is not alone in that regard. However, the two above are not restricted per se and can actually move in human-like ways without the same kinds of restrictions (i.e. joints for transformation that coincidentally allow movement in hips & knees). --EVA_Unit_4A
@turtledovklss PVC is used in toys for sharper edges like swords and smaller single-piece moving parts like cannon barrels. It's considered a "safe" material because it bends rather than creating sharp edges when it breaks. Though cheaper and heavier than ABS, it doesn't hold its shape very well for larger complex construction, so making a toy as complex as, say, a Dlx. Megazord would be impractical. PVC is also affected by heat a little more than ABS, so it can be warped that way as well.
@BoukenCrimson LoL Thank you. The majority of my collection received a lot of respect, and almost never left the confines of the house (except as playmates in the car) or backyard brows in the sandbox (heresy!). Few decals & parts are missing/damaged, and paint is almost spotless. The only thing they have gained, though, is rust, dust, and a few weakening joints. Also, very few of my toys are second-hand, and even them as close to MiSB as possible. I like clean toys. --EVA_Unit_4A
It's clever how they used the dogu tie in with the Egyptian motif with all the theorist with aliens in ancient Egypt. Ive always loved some of the detail the sentai series went to with the real life symbology.
The second set of helmet holes on the back of the megazord is to store Zeo Battle Helmet 5 (stored on top) and Helmet 3 (stored at the bottom)... so it can hold all the helmets while being helmet-less.
@RayDiTutto66 ABS and PVC (both acronyms) are common plastics used for many things, like toys. Soft PVC is usually used for safety reasons (blades, spikes, etc.) while ABS provides integrity, is lighter weight, and can be mold-injected to form hollow shapes. Wikipedia has detailed articles on them. --EVA_Unit_4A
also, when you open the flaps on the fronts of 1 and 2 to get the ropes out, on the inside of the pink zord's flap, there is an engraved "M" for "Moai" ( the easter island head). and aon the Yellow zord's flap, there is a "D" for "Dogu". and when you deploy the side cannons on Pink, they create "Ears" for the easter island head apeal. and the side cannons for Yellow create arms for the Dogu apeal. after I researched what they were supposed to be, i came to enjoy them alot more.
Finally u got this video up after all u did have to do the Gosei toys that was a awsome job u did i might really get the zeo deuxe zord it look really awsome :D
@Tarngold I don't know for certain, but as I understand it, OhRanger was planned to be much more dramatic (like DaiRanger and KakuRanger), but behind-the-scenes issues forced it to have the lighter tone that it did. --EVA_Unit_4A
@tubeview96 The mecha theme that was in OhRanger wasn't compatible with PRZ, so it wasn't highlighted. So, it appears to us to be just random animals & mecha (the problem with this is?), but in Japan, it was about ancient mythologies. --EVA_Unit_4A
Eva, when you were saying that you didn't know why there was another set of clips on the back of zeo zord 5, it's there so when you put the zeo zord 4 helmate on the head, ( with the flap closed ) you connect the zeo 3 helmate, and then flip the flap down, and connect the zeo 5 helmate on top of the flap. this way, all helmates are stored and not loose in any form
You make me wish i didnt give up my own Zeo Megazord, and honestly i cant remember what i traded it for back in the day. :-/ The gimmick of the helmets should have been expanded on for a whole series of upgrade robots, but yeah it was back in the days of 1 main robo, one carrier robo, one upgrade robo, so it still did very well, too bad Ohranger didnt get much love in Japan
You're very right, I was thinking of the Thunderbird being a separate mythical animal. I'm usually better when it comes to mythology. I still stand by my other points, though. It's worth pointing out that the motif of this set is not just one ancient culture, but several.
@BattleWarPath Unfortunately, because of how it was adapted into Zeo, that didn't make much sense, so they simply cut it out and they became five random animals. I don't really care- it's still awesome what they came up with! --EVA_Unit_4A
The outer pegs on the Phoenix Zord is for Zeo Megazord Helmet 5, so if you're using 1, 2, or 4's helmets, you can store both 3 and 5's helmets on the back. Great review, I love the Zeo Megazord.
@HaloBoy74 Yeah- Lightspeed Zords, Time Force Flyers, SPD Zords, Overdrive Vehicles, and Zord Attack Vehicles all had non-animal themes, though some animal-shaped robots did appear in some of them. --EVA_Unit_4A
Oh if you're wondering about the slots on the top of Zeo Zord 5's hatch, you could place the Zeo 3 helmet on it and leave it hanging upside while in megazord mode. Because I didn't store the other 3 Zeo battle helmets while the toy was in megazord mode, I ended up losing them.
It was also fitting for leader, OhRed (Zeo Ranger 5), to get the flying zord Sky Phoenix (zeo zord 5) cause the Ohrangers were jet pilots. Also meant to say "Moa Loader and Dogu Lander were more like horse drawn war chariots" in the last comment.
I can see why Zeo Zords 1 and 2 were designed the way they were and had to be towed by Zeo Zords 3 and 4. Cause in Ohranger, Moa Loader (zeo zord 1) and Dogu Lander (zeo zord 2) more like horse drawn war chariots. Dash Leon (zeo zord 3) and Gran Taurus (zeo zord 4) were the horses in that case. It all fits with the ancient times part of Ohranger's theme.
@espnonsportscenter No, that's just how the light reflected on the toy when they took the original photograph. they weren't big into paint apps back then, and considering how much there already was on the DX OhRanger Robo...
I got one complete so lucky when I did the prices jacked up vastly on this particular zord toy. This is my favorite season of Power Rangers growing up so I had to have this one. I had all the 5 inch Zeo zords ( sword action Zeo Megazord, 1-2 punching action Red Battlezord, and rolling transforming Pyramidas) as a kid cause that's all my Dad could afford then! And I still have those today. Most of my deluxe zords ( 93 Dino Megazord set) came from my Gramma Jennie ( my Dads mom) besides the White Tigerzord and Dragonzord sets I both got from my Dad for birthday and Easter. I'm still building my collection till this day! And I'm currently looking for a Deluxe Red Battlezord, Legacy Falconzord to complement my Legacy Ninja Megazord and Titanus to complete my era of Power Rangers collection. I recently completed my 94 Thunder Megazord to complement my original 94 White Tigerzord I've had since was 8. The Zords were and are still the best part of any collection in my opinion. Good review by the way. Zeo was also great because Jason returned to the series as the Gold Ranger too.
Thank you very much. I'm glad you liked my video. I remember giving my Dad a wad of cash and a slip of paper with the name of the Zeo Megazord before he went to work one morning, and then after work that same day he brought one home with him. I was thrilled! And even today, having watched all of _Chouriki Sentai Ohranger_ on DVD (thank you, Shout! Factory), it remains a favorite. Despite its simplicity, I still like Red Puncher, and the simple gimmick of the OhBlocker's fitted geometric shapes, and the impressive mass and detail of King Pyramider. Gunmazin... who? Also- ruclips.net/video/B_rfNSMD2VE/видео.html
@BattleWarPath The "Chouriki Sentai OhRanger" theme was a bit vague, but was basically about the super-continent of Pangaea millions of years ago, and Earthly powers that grew as a result of the banishment of the rebellious robot Baranoia Empire. The animals that were chosen for the series don't really have much to do with each other, and are merely ancient mythologies kinda scrambled together. --EVA_Unit_4A
The motif of Zeo was NOT Egyptian. It was ancient culures in general. Red is not a Phoenix, it is the Firebird, which is often seen represented in the ancient records of many cultures and was likely once a real creature. Pink and Yellow are a Dogu and an Easter Island Statue respectively. Yes, blue is a Sphinx. Green is not just a bull, but Taurus the bull, one of the ancient constellations and a Zodiac animal. Not trying to be a jerk, just want the information out there.
@redblueranger621 IDK if that would work, because the instructions also show multiple Ultra combos involving the other mega combos in the center, including just Tyrannosaurus and Dragon Caesar.

@jory1987 In PR that makes sense, because Ninjor made all the Ninjazords, Shogunzords, AND the Battle Borgs, even though all three types belonged to different Ranger teams.
