The first thing you need to do is get the "better deals" upgrade after logistics. Everything you are importing will cost 10 less. So you will have the same price for import and export. It's a game changer.

If you assign someone to the church they'll bury your dead villagers in the church graveyard.
You need to get better deals in the perk/development chart. It reduces the cost of all trades by 10 by removing the tariff
You talk about putting an extra person into the units. It's not an extra person it's a family. I love your enthusiasm though.
Hes completely cut off from the other side. Not good. He needs to take the other 2 spaces or the other guy will. If the other guy takes the 2 remaining spaces, its only a matter of time for war for the rest.
