Watched your video, it is great thanks for that, but what if I want to place another object on top of an applique and use a fill stitch on it. For instance I want to do an American flag. I want to applique the blue field but want to fill stitch the stars. How would I do that, please.
Hi Brad. I am wondering if the Floriani software is better than masterworks? I am currently using Masterworks and have a love hate relationship with it. Should I invest in the newest masterworks or in the Floriani software.
Amy Bomar the "new" masterworks hasn't been updated since 2013, dont get that they basically abandoned it. floriani is good but very similar to mw in many ways. the most important thing is to have someone who knows what they are doing to show you how to use the software you buy. before you drop 2k on floriani check out designers gallery creator lvl 1 at your baby lock dealer. awesome software, costs about 240 bucks.
but by splitting what your doing, isnt that going to mess up the placement area? placement, tackdown, satin. so how are they going work for the cutouts for the letters?
+Patti Mccutchen the gaps get covered up by the overlaps so you just trim the fabric where the line would be, it doesn't have to be perfect cause it will get covered up anyway. or, if you want to do it the manual way without the applique tool you could just leave the lines in for the tackdown stitch

i dont have this software, but do have PE11, this looks so easy foiwing, but i cant work it out in PE11

everytime I remove the overlap in the artwork, the letters fill in. What setting needs changed?
