Apologies in advance for the audio on this video. I'm not sure what happened during recording but it seems my camera and voice are slightly out of sync. Sadly i couldn't fix it in post processing, but hopefully things will be back to normal on the next video! 😬
it is all good.good thing ur not playing perma death but the trap doors i use are called hatches.also go full strength build since your clubs are really good already.stay strong shojiki!

A good tip for you, when using workstations that consume wood only place enough wood to finish the current job and you won't have to remember to turn it off.

Nice, made some good progress :) Bad luck against the dog, hard not to panic when they come at you! I would keep those legendary parts for something other than primitive / wooden tools myself. The audio/video sync seemed fine to me. This is the ideal location for a base IMO, roof of a sturdy building.
I think you may be right about the legendary parts! We'll keep going with a fresh set of lvl 5 primitive for now then and keep an eye out for other things we'd like to craft with the legendary parts.

you can get plastic by harvesting the tires that are on the ground

Another great episode! As I'm waiting for this on PS5, I don't have much in the way of suggestions. However, one thing I've learned on another video, once you've looted a mailbox, it will show partially open and the flag will be down. You're probably aware of this but got excited I might have something to share lol

It is probably better to stick with one kind of armor because of the set bonus, esp. if its already lvl5. I didnt pay much attention to it but perhaps you like to compare it again.

The Crack-A-Book suite is one of the better temporary base locations out there, just not a good horde base. Also, you do not want to settle there permanently with a land claim block because that shop is one of the few that you really, really, really want to respawn for quests ;) .
I usually look for a decent brick building with a flat roof for a beginner base: sturdy, usually 2 floors and enough stability that zombies knocking down half the walls will not just collapse the building. The Crack-A-Book is a brick building but it has way too large windows to be useful long term.
About the legendary parts, hold on to those. Not worth anything primitive. I am keeping mine for iron tools (steel is more stamina intensive) and the armor set(s) I want to make. The armor sets do confer bonuses but primitive armor does not have any. So for now, any light armor you find will by default be better than anything you can make. As for what set to go for, pick your poison. I am combining pieces to get a set that suits my build but it has no bonus. My bike has things that are helpful for bartering and at home I have a few pieces of salvage/ woodcutter/ farmer/ miner armor.

Actually that's a very good point about the respawn! Do we need a land claim block in single player? I think it will only be temporary for the time being. We need to head further out and see what other interesting POIs we can take over!
And thankyou for the other tips too. Definitely saving the legendary items for a decent set of armour, so they are safely stored away for now! 😉
Legendary parts are used when you get a crafting skill high enough to make quality 6 of something. Like clubs i would suggest holsing them and making the final stuff. Like steel club instead of using them on lower tier gear.

Oh dammit haha! I was thinking at the time maybe it's hatch, but for some reason didn't actually look for it. Thankyou! Will try and remember on the next video. I think it may be safer using hatches rather than spikes as i'm a bit simple... 😂

I find the structure of the game, with it's default setting of one day and night cycle = 1 hour, really helps with recording pre-edited videos. Anyone who watches them knows that, generally, the video will generally be under an hour long (with a couple of exceptions), so it's been great so far.
You could stream it too, although i've found at the beginning, you don't have much to do during the night, so i end up waiting a few hours before sunrise. Of course, that's just down to my playstyle (too scared to go out at night currently) and it does give you a chance to talk to viewers for a bit before the next day starts!
