They put prohok in your Amok. Most people don’t know that 😂Your Amok will taste plain without Prihok or fish sauce. Fish sauce is a liquid while the amok is in solid form.
We have different types of mango and different price as well the price 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 or even 10000 depends on taste .
I always tip people visiting Thailand to learn to say: "how much? or what's the price?" and other standard phases in Thai - showing u are not a "fresh tourist straight out the airplane" and knows the local prices living there.
It will get cheaper pretty fast when u shopping =)
the issue is that you then get the answer in the local language too which in Cambodia means you have to know the numbers all the way up 20/30000 which I don’t and never will because I don’t spend that much time in each country. I’d rather show people what it’s going to be like to be a tourist and show scams in case they happen. If you can’t stop yourself from scamming people just because they are „fresh out of the airplane“ your country doesn’t deserve tourists.
If you cannot tolerate the heat, come to Florida USA. It is about the same heat stroke here as well.

It’s not about development- it’s about making things safe for people to walk… some older aunties maybe can’t walk so good and will fall in the market when there’s holes in the ground. That’s what I was talking about in the video ♥️ it’s not change for tourists but change for the locals

Honestly Cambodia is a very safe country, it’s been listed as a green safe to travel country for years by the Australian and US travel departments more than their neighbours.
A lot of of the misinformation of it being really unsafe are from the a small subset of nasty Thai nationalists - they do not like Cambodian as you can see in these Thai comments in their own language.
Thai people are generally friendly to foreigners (especially white ones) but will be the first to tear down their own neighbours due to their pridefulness and jealousy

Everything in this country belonged to Siam or Thailand nowadays, including Angkor Wat that you can see a replica in the Grand Palace. All of the beaches are not better than those in the South. So, why go to Khmer Land to look at the same things with lower quality?
