Depending on the limb and wound, release every hour, never, NEVER wait until 2 hours. The goal isn’t to stop all blood flow, but stop the major arterial flow to the limbs. And by pressure point, I was told to use anything you can from a small ball, or a bundle of rolled cloth about the size of a child’s fist, ON the artery, under the tourniquet. This allows the artery to be closed, but not cut off vascular blood flow to the limb. Oh, and if when you open the tourniquet every hour or so, close it immediately if after a minute blood flows again through the wound. And as with any blood loss, if the patient is conscious, GIVE THEM WATER. Hopefully no one will ever need this info.

Also, blue light filter glasses would be useless as they don't have my prescription. There is this nifty little thing on Windows computers called "Night Light" which will reduce the blue. Blues still look blues but everything else looks more yellow and strains the eyes, that too can induce headaches.
The battery of that Black&Decker vacuum dies after only 10 month of regular use. And when you try to claim the warranty, they tell you the price of shipping is more than the price of a new one. 👎
Also blue light filters on lenses isn't something specific to those glasses. My real glasses that I use to see, have a blue light filter which helps with blue light in the the day to day environment.
The even funnier part is that blue light glasses and filters don't do anything to help us. There's a simple reason for this, blue light doesn't actually hurt our eyes lol. There has never been true evidence that it does and just stopping to think about it doesn't make much sense when we have a blue sky we look at all the time that doesn't affect our eyesight (and yes it is the same blue light these things block).

When you apply a tourniquet it cuts of blood flow to the entire limb and can lead to amputation so you should only use it as a last resort.
That’s why they stress in training to relax it every hour or so to allow blood to flow.
