- This is a short documentary on Miyawaki Forest .
Thanks to the wonderful work that the organisations like Afforestt and Saytrees are doing in the space and our sincere gratitude to them for allowing us to shoot some of their work in and around Bangalore.
The documentary script has been inspired by Greta Thunberg's speech at the UN Climate Action Summit 2019.

Very good and informative video.
First of all Government needs to follow the policy of Decentralisation of industries and development of infrastructure,so that there is minimum migration of people from villages to towns & from towns to cities.
This will help in maintaining forest cover in villages and towns. The importance of afforestation and its effect on ecosystem needs to be included in the curriculum & taught in schools and colleges so as to create awareness of afforestation in the younger generation. Every year afforestation program and visit to forest needs to be conducted by schools and colleges to create awareness,know the importance of plants , varieties of plants,animals etc.
You're not old enough to have figured out that when government gets involved in anything it generally goes to shit. Community leadership and the people of the communists do a way better job spending way less money. People are responsible for the communities they live in and can collaborate with each other.
Its an interesting concept

Government barren lands are used as dumps by people, in Nagpur their are many such huge plots of lands under MSCB, such lands should be used for such projects, these barren lands can act as city lungs keeping the environment healthy.
