- Nadolig Llawen | Merry Christmas. I took the van out one night this week for some solitude, just me and Cadi. This video is dedicated to those who were unable to get out into nature this past week or so due to whatever reason. I hope you can enjoy some of Snowdonia with me, even if it is just on a screen.
If anyone knows of someone / company who makes good custom insulated blinds for campervans, please let me know! I'm on the look out. I have been finding it quite difficult to find any for a Citroen Berlingo Enterprise Van.
(BTW, my microphone decided to break half way through the video, so it meant I had to cut some talking clips out towards the end 😢)

I'm sat at work on my second night shift of 3 (was on shift for Christmas and boxing day too) I'm itching for mid January to get out in my little van for my first wild camp. Cheers for keeping me going 😁

Great little trip.
Fabulous vlog. The weather has not been kind over Christmas. Rather have it cold and dry, not wet and can't believe how warm it is. 9° overnight in Beacon on weekend. All the best for the New Year and New Adventures ahead 👍

Fantastic micro van Amber i love it , i did a T5 self build and just came back from the shores of Lake Windermere in a 6 van convoy where all Adulting went out the window for 3 days and beer made silly memories happen. Nice video. I SUP that lake often, its a great place for afternoon sunshine in Winter (if its not cloudy/raining!) Cadi looks like she enjoyed it too👍
Great isn’t it. It’s one of my favourites (apart from in the summer when it’s heaving 😂) and only ten minutes from home so can’t complain. Cadi is like a cat, just loves to curl up and get cosy, I like to think she enjoys the views too 🥰

You are cooking with a gaz stove in your van? Be careful! Sorry, I have almost the age of your father 🥹. Take care! I have a little teardrop camper and when I have to cook inside, I used an alcohol burner (ex. Trangia), denaturated ethylic alcohol (ethanol more than 95%) is fairly safe inside, sailors use that kind of stoves in their boats. You can also use fondue fuel because clear ethanol is sometime tricky to find. Outside, methyl hydrate can also be used in those burners and it is cheaper... but you have already a gaz stove. Alcohol burners are "slower" but less tricky. I generally use it in a BushBox XL, the same as your's, it is very sturdy, a very good mix. Solitude is great 👍 the van looks really cozy. What about magnets out of old fridge doors sewn in to curtains
I used quite strong magnets but not strong enough. Also I want some insulated ones so will be better off getting them custom made I think. Hopefully find something soon!

Thanks, I mostly shoot on my Fuji xt30 but sometimes I just use my iPhone!

No! It only got down to 78%, but It was only on low for about 5/6 hours.
Do you having and ventilation in the van or anything? I've just bought a van I pick it up tomorrow and I'm just wondering how to get started and what the first things I should be doing 😅 cheers
To be honest, I’m winging it, even still now. I don’t have any specific ventilation apart from the side window in the back which I open when I’m cooking or boiling the kettle… mostly I leave the back doors open when I do this though unless it’s freezing cold or raining. I know you can install a roof fan, but I wouldn’t have a clue 🙈
I can make new curtains for you. 😉😊
Please be careful cooking in the van without ventilation.
